My guess, game won't let you make illegal moves. Maybe the move left the king in check?

It happened to me also. I wrote something in the chat, and then my pieces were immovable, like it was not my turn, although it was. I think that the bug is triggered when you press the arrow keys (left or right) in the keyboard.

Yes make sure you go to the last move if you are going back through the moves.

I used the left/right arrows to position the cursor in the chat textbox, but simultaneously the board was moving to previous positions. I tried to return to the last move using the buttons in the screen, but they were disabled.
