I do not believe that the person that sends a friend request is notified if their request is rejected or denied.

I stand corrected then. I don't think I've been rejected out of the thousands of friend requests I sent. Most of the time people will just leave them hanging and not accept it and eventually I'll delete the request. Thanks for the update.

Yeah I think it's only in live. If you're on the web browser and you're in Daily and you send a friend request and they reject it, I don't believe there's any message sent back to you saying so.

No don't be sorry. I'm a self-professed friend hound. And no I don't see any rejections. It doesn't affect me whatsoever if somebody accepts it or not.

I send out so many requests that I don't really remember who I send them to. So if you get another one in the future, just reject it with a click.
It is just someone asking you to befriend online for a few games, not an ex girlfriend . You don't need to feel bad about it pal. If you ignore them they will be ok I am sure. Good luck with your chess.

When you reject, its the same as ignore. We do not send them a message that you rejected them.
Can there be an option to "ignore" friend requests instead of outright rejecting them? I feel bad whenever i do so
or like a way to reject, but doesn't tell the person that you rejected it
