Lesson 2 51% in 45:53. I got most of the moves once the preparation was done.
This lesson was 20 moves or so. So if you want to take 60 minutes on the whole thing take about 3 minutes a move.

I finished lesson 2 with 57% in 40:35. Very interesting. One thing I'm learning in these lessons is to fully prepare my forces before launching an attack. I think I'm too often tempted to jump in when I see any tactical advantage, rather than move every piece to its best place before the assault. I'm also enjoying the strategic advice - for example, in Lesson 2, of avoiding the exchange when you have a space advantage and doing what you can to restrict your opponents mobility. Very instructive.

80% on lesson two? I wish. You accidentally included my lesson ONE score. I found the second lesson considerably harder, and I think the grading was harsher as well (though I did make a couple of serious blunders).

I'd like to remind some of the newer members of our group that it's not necessary to start with the 1st exercise in IM Silman's Chess Mentor Strategy course (although everyone is certainly encouraged to do so). From what I can tell, each lesson of the course is stand-alone, and does not depend on completing previous lessons in the series. So, feel free to pick up at our current lesson and join in with the rest of our study group at any time. As you complete the lesson, please respond to this forum with how long it took to complete the lesson, your % score on the lesson, your current chess.com rating, and any comments you might have on the lesson (things you learned, how you plan to apply this knowledge in your own games, etc.). Most of all, enjoy the journey!
This is a reminder that we're half way through the 2 week period allocated for Lesson 2. Please take some time (45 min avg, it appears) this weekend, if you can, to complete the 2nd lesson in our Silman Chess Mentor Strategy Course. I'd like to see as many as possible complete this lesson before we move to Lesson 3.
Thanks!

And a reminder: Today we start lesson 3. Good learning, everyone.
Wow! That second lesson was very instructive. Tarrasch really squeezed Schlechter. Schlechter was totally defensive and missed his only chance.
45 minutes. 75%. Then I played through it again.
We had some late reports on lesson 2, so I'll report those scores one last time:

Lesson 3 92% in 0:47 If you get the first move, the notes after each move should give you more than enough clues.
Just to remind everyone, here is the Silman Strategy course that we're studying:
We've completed Lessons 1 and 2 and this week we'll complete Lesson 3:
Lesson 1: Botvinnik-Sorokin, USSR 1931
Lesson 2: Tarrasch-Schlechter, Leipzig 1894
Lesson 3: A variation from Tarrasch-Schlechter, Leipzig 1894

53% in 50 minutes! Woohoooo!!!!
I really found this lesson so much easier. Again, most of the moves I found on my own, including the Qb1 move.
