Incentives

So I have been thinking and I realized that many members do not participate.

Can u all think of ideas that will motivate ppl to participate?

Ones I have thought about

Member of the month - each month, about two ppl who are SA/admin and two ppl who are coord/member get a shoutout

Honorary Senior Member (coordinator - could be awarded for a lot of participation, winning several live tourney, wining a daily tourney or two, leading the leaderboard for matches, etc.)

I could support member of the month but not 2. How about we create a member of the month and make people vote between the top 3 most active?

there is a reason i am saying 4/per month. They usually go to admins/SAs and I want to involve everyone. 

Many ppl can do things for the club, and they go unnoticed. So my plan is to award it to the top two (give or take one or so) of each category, with some honorable mentions as we see fit

a full club vote wouldn't work ... maybe only an HQ vote

Maybe EH or someone else could choose three people, and then the rest of the HQ vote between those people? Because we all may just end up picking different people.

for the admins/SA category, there aren't that many of us, so we don't need to choose

but yeah 3-5 ppl for the coord/member category, and then choose the top 1-2

I think we should all just choose, if there really are so many different choices then it should show us that we're not giving the award to the people who stand out the most I think

I don't think I should be the sole person choosing and then other people voting
