you can read the forum "how do you get an FIDE rating?". if I understand this forum, you don't have to play all the minimum game for a FIDE rate in one tournament. the games against unrated fide players don't be taken in to your minimum game. you should ask more to an official in a FIDE tournament to have a better answer.
Hey Everyone. I thought this is a good place to ask my question. Recently, I concluded a FIDE rating tournament, where I played five FIDE unrated players in the first five rounds, and in the last round I played a FIDE rated 1773 player. I drew against him to get a record against FIDE players of 0.5/1. I know that to get an initial rating, I must score one point. However, must that one point be scored in the same tournament? Any help towards getting my head around this would be appreciated. My final result was 3.5/6.
