Id say it took me about 6 min, which dosent seem like a lot of time, but it was a G45. I actually saw it right away as an option and I dismissed it thinking that it was just crazy. I kept coming back to it out of desperation to stop his attack. I remember reading somewhere that Kasparov said that a deep pawn like that one should be counted as a piece, so I felt like material was even after the queen trade, with me having more active rooks.
I wanted to post a fun game that I had a few weeks ago in Memphis. This was a little free 4 round G45 tournament and this game was in the last round. My opponent is a VERY good blitz player and a very attacking player which is what made this game exciting. enjoy.
