Hi, I'm Jack from Lake Kiowa Tex.,  I am 74, married to Kay, my beautiful and wonderful wife.  We have two kids, Jazz and Casey (Yorkies). I have not played chess for 38yrs. and I have a lot of free time with nothing to do. A friend told me about Chess.com. the rest is history. I became a member and found a new lease on life and something to do with all of that free time. I would be honored to join your group. I'm not a very good player, but I do hope to learn and maybe get better  Thank You.

Hi I'm Suzann, I retired in 2009 and I am now 65.  My husband and I have been "nomads" traveling in our 5th wheel RV since then.  We winter in Florida and spend the remaining part of the year on the road sightseeing the USA and my husband fishes everywhere he can!  We have a a daughter and 3 grandkids.  

I make lots of crafts, quilting, machine embroidery, crocheting, knitting etc., thus my username craftysusie.  I used have a higher rating but between Admining several groups on chess.com and playing in tournaments, my rating has dropped drastically.

I have been a member for 5 months.  The last 5 months have been fun and a learning experience for me. I had ever played chess like this before.  I wake up in the mornings looking for the next game.  I win some, lose some but the ride has been great.  I love the greatest game in the world and I love chess.com.  Thank you all for the hard work you do.  Thanks for the invite.

Hi--I am Brad.  Retired civil engineer, but then things happened, and I had to go back to work for a while, so now am selling sporting goods at Walmart.  Hope to retire for good early next year.  Played chess in high school and college, then not again until I started playing on line a few months ago.  I try, without a great deal of success, to play piano, harmonica, recorder, and guitar.  I enjoy reading, hunting, and making jewelry (beadweaving), which I sell for less than I should.

Hi from Canada. Im John Henderson. I work the vineyards of Niagara Falls as an assistant vineyard manager. I drive tractor for a living and am down to earth. Chess has helped me in life to see different alternatives or angles in a situation. Always down to play and learn. Cheers

Hi all. London here. Not played chess for over 20 years but recently got the inclination to play again.

Not going to well at the mo. but my 8 year old who's known the rules for 2 weeks seems to have the knack and I'm enjoying watching him play with some surprising good moves!

Hello from the Great State of Texas.  I have been a member for 10 months and it has been a great ride.  I love the game and I love chess.com.  I have meet so many people from all over the free world.  I can say I have not meet a person I do not like.  They love chess and I love chess, so what is there not to like.  We all win some and we all lose some but this chess and that is how we learn.  Treat your fellow players with respect and they will respect you back.  It's that easy.  Enjoy the game and enjoy the players you play.  Thank you so much.

Hello bradmort, nice to meet you.  I live in Lake Kiowa, 12 miles east of Gainesville which is on int. 35, 6 miles from the Okla. state line.  When you cross the Red River you are in Okla.
