Dear Jedichestermaster,

If you have two knights protecting the king after castling on the right with the pawns first then the knights and a rook there to how would you put the check on the king with out taking any pieces? You have two knights and a rook near the white king, but this is a hard move to make to win the game without taking any of the white or your black pieces. A friend and I did this game and He and I wonder about this. If I knew how to put chess pictures on the web site I maybe able to show it.

Even though you may not have found the way to post a board on this site (use the little board icon above where you're typing), you should still use a standard form of communicating the position, in this case it sounds like some simple algebraic notation would give us enough of a picture to go on.

Take for instance, "castle on the right" - are you white? Black? Each of those castles will look different depending on which side you're playing.

What does "two knights protecting the king" mean? Where are they located? How are they protecting?

And I'm not even sure I understand what "with the pawns first then the knights and a rook" means.

Sounds interesting and I'd like to take a look when you can nail down the exact moves to achieve the position or show it on a board!
