The same thing has happened to me 3-4 times too. Usually on the first game I play with someone.

The bug is not fixed yet. Happened to me today. Two times matchmaking worked normally, the 3rd time it puts my teammate into another team.
A few times I was trying to playing with joanapita and after it searched for a while we both ended up in the same game, however I was with a different partner (I think it was Medlo_1994 both times) and each time my partner was red, with joanapita to my right. This was still far better than being matched randomly, but it is a bug worth investigating nonetheless.
