One more thing related, I'm using the same setup and I eventually get in a quite annoying loop of messages "we have detected a login from another device" or something to that effect (can't remember the exact wording). Usually this means I've to kill the application and restart it.
About the adding friends thing, I believe you can as of now hack your way through it by going to Play Online and then Tournament. That takes you to a webview of the site with you logged in, and there is the menu on top which can be used for that AFAIR. But this is a hack (quite useful in order to get to parts of the site which are not yet on the mobile application).
Hi all,
I have been using the application for a couple of months for both iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Let me share my opinion.
It looks like that a combination "iPhone and iPad" does not work well together regarding the push notifications. Once I am notified on iPhone, the other time on iPad. Never on both. Frankly, I have no idea what algorithm is behind.
When I slide a notification on a locked screen then I can see a list of all games. It would be useful to see a game the notification was about.
Well, I cannot wait to have this. Now, I am tied to a laptop or Safari on iPad. How about unconditional moves? Would be useful at the beginning of a game.
It has happened twice to me that the application crashed during a 5 min game while a wifi was weak. Maybe not related - just giving a clue.
It looks like there is no way to add a new friend or I simply cannot find it.
A small thing. I cannot see a nationality or other data related to an opponent of mine.
When I have a chessboard in front of me I can still see a bottom toolbar (Home, Online, Computer, ...). This is a bit annoying on iPhone when I very often hit an item of the toolbar by mistake. Let us introduce a "Back" button similarly to "Analysis" board and remove the toolbar at all.
That is all for now I think. Really great job and I look forward to seeing yet more improvements on a mobile side.
Best regards,
Dominik
