Chess is a mind sport, but it a game too. When we said sport we think of more of physical body, though particular persons on both sides using their mind or brain to judge what they gonna do. Actually that question is too broad, because it is a game too. For it is a competition like basketball game, football game. Chess game is a logic game that we use our intuition. We use most of our mental capacity to compete in chess.
