So now Fair Play will scan you for a chip, and not allow you to compete if you have one. Unfair for people who get one for medical reasons. Guess what? No more chess, or any other game, or a lot of other things, for you!

Now you can live and move, but no one will play with you.

In all honesty, unless someone can hack with their brain (not putting anything past humans here) there is really nothing to worry about.

I participated in an early experiment in this sort of thing. We wore a kind of headpiece, and could think at a projected game to make the pieces move. This was around 2017, I think. I'd actually forgotten about it until now. It was really cool.

An excellent rating on a bad player is usually proof of cheating. On good players these chips could be used but could be detected in their live games or in the different playing style when using the chip
