ok, he might have changed the thing to "only friends can message me" so it is not a bug. The "only friends can message me" is in settings

This is club news, so I assume that blocking, muting, and profile settings don't matter.
On the other hand, if you don't want to recieve news notifications, go into the club settings and change the setting.

If the admin that created the News has their settings so that only friends can send messages, that would impact it, since the News comes from that member.

That Appears Only If...
1. IF you and the one you are messaging are not friends. Because sometimes, people set their messages from friends only, give them a friend request, if they accept, try again
2. IF you are blocked, you cant message someone who have blocked you.
3.IF you are muted.
4.IF its yourself
