If you don't want to play the match you can simply resign. Since its less than 4 moves it won't affect rating.

The match can't be aborted once it's started, I believe. However, since it's the same for both players and everyone plays both colours, it is fair. Not ideal, but it can still be an interesting match.

They just kept moving their knights back and forth
if that happens the black knight would be at the 6th rank since white only moved once
