WARNING: JOHN"S POLITICAL RANT - What you may read below may not go down too easy. Proceed if you want to hear some inconvenient truth.

My Mom was a lifelong Democrat and I loved her dearly. My Dad was a lifelong Republican and I also loved him but it wasn't always easy. They got together. What happened to the Democratic Party of my Mom and the Republican Party of my Dad? Now they are worlds apart.

Republicans took a turn to the right and the Democrats made a sharp turn to the left. If we do not do what's right now, we may all be left behind along with most of the freedom and prosperity we have had. Democrats support abortion on demand, LGBTQ agenda, socialism, and Marxist views. They have lost respect for the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and God's moral laws. They want to restrict your gun rights, muzzle dissenting speech, and keep the opinions of Christians that are based on the Bible out of the public square.

Republicans support the First and Second Amendment, are largely prolife, support free enterprise, and largely support traditional marriage but not without wavering. They support personal responsibility and deregulation to a large degree. They are generally for lower taxes and less government intrusion.

We have both Repubs and Dems who are bullies so go with the platform and not the person. Dems in D.C. and their allies want power at all costs. They care little about truth and justice and some planned to impeach Trump BEFORE HE WAS SWORN IN AS PRESIDENT. They were willing to trash the reputation and family of a good man, Brett Kavanaugh, to keep him off the Supreme Court. They relentlessly have pursued to overthrow the choice of the American people with a lot of trumped-up charges, false narratives, and flat-out lies. They have been supported by most of the media who have lost all objectivity, billionaires who have lost sight of what has made America great, public education and professors. almost all who have taken a sharp turn to the left.

God is watching and He is not pleased. If we do not defend our freedom NOW we will find far less freedom to defend later. It is time for good moral people with common sense and professing Christians to get out of the pews, get informed, and vote for what is best for the country.

We need to pray earnestly and consistently for revival for our country and world as if our lives depended upon it. Because, to a larger extent than we may believe, the life of our country depends on many Christians and non-Christians becoming convicted of sin and repenting in sincerity and truth.
