We try to avoid controversial/political subjects that may cause hurt to any members... When such conversations have arisen they were not endorsed by club admin.
Just look at this

Welcome back and thanks for your kind idea, 100roundy
I have answered Vepos' thread on Arseny https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/let-us-pray-for-arseny#comment-67758797 And no matter it's Russia or Ukraine, this club will always be our solidarity community, and we can not be divided by any external event. Staying away from controversial political issues is a principle to keep the forums friendly
However, I think it's alright to mention objective political matters such as
– The EURUSD rate is expected to keep going down because of the ongoing situation in Ukraine and other reasons
– Donations to poor Ukrainian people are being welcome throughout the world, and we can donate here https://crisisrelief.un.org/crises (not only to Ukraine but also to Syria, Somalia, Yemen, South Sudan, Nigeria, and many more)
I have returned to the club and have noticed lots of weird stuff going on, please don't argue about uncomfortable topics like the Russia/Ukraine because there could be Russians or Ukrainians in this club that might offend them. Thank you!
