It has come to my attention we really need to define what we are doing in our group. For us to succeed as a group we must have purpose and a target in mind. My main aim for this group was to have a home for Fife chess players; even though this is still the primary aim we have grown beyond the borders of Fife. This is the reason for the name change to "Kingdom of Fife and Friends". The membership is mainly Scots and some international players with some link (no matter how small) to Fife. A concern is ghost members; those who are on the role but remain inactive. I think we may need to tighten our membership criteria to ensure that most members are active members.
Finally, I need to here from you! What do you want from your group...what should be our aims etc? If you don't want to post here feel free to message me.
