Komodo 5-10 off-line?

Is there a reason that levels 5 -10 of Komodo have not been available for live play over the last day? Is it just in my browser or is system wide?  I can see levels 1-4, then 11 through 20 +.

I think is chess.com

@pawn314159  I see levels 1-4, then 11-20 as well.  Would most likely be something with the website, as @lucky8000 suggested.  Perhaps staff are doing maintenance on something and took some levels of Komodo offline?  Not sure.

I am guessing that they are offline because of two tickets created as the result of a post several weeks ago complaining that they only played the Sicilian in response to e4.

Both JD and Erik responded that a ticket had been created. Hopefully a solution is in process.

@notmtwain  Thanks for posting this information. happy.png  It makes a lot of sense why they're possibly offline now.

I have now gathered info on all new computer bots and Komodo levels with ratings < 1000. A blog post is at: Man vs Machine, Initial Days of Computer Bots

Information and data on the bots in the range of 1000 and 1700 is now available at: Man vs Machine, Part II – the Mid-Level Bots.

If anyone can play the bots or Komodo levels > 1700, please send me your thought impressions and a link to the game. I will put them into a 3rd posting on the better bots. Thank you.

I have nor put togethr info on the better bots and computer programs above 1700 rating. This includes game info on Stockfish and Lc0, as well as data and statistics on K 17-24 levels, K Boss, 20 + bots, and the latest of the bot line-up based on real people, Hikaru and Danny Rensch.

It is at: Man vs Machine, Part III – the Better Bots.

The last part of the blog series will be on the pros and cons of computer play. Please let me know what you like and dislike about the computer chess programs, and I will incorporate your thoughts in Part IV of the series.
