Okay, so CP starts advancing, then Type runs for the fire hat, then CP runs after as a reaction to type going for the fire hat. Thats where we're at now.

Typewriter44

Well then, I still do the same thing, dodging the ink this time

Yes, I advanced so after you started running I run after yiu

You did not run, you advanced

HorribleTomato

1. You also have to dodge a katana.

2. How?

Yes, he did not run. As a reaction to seeing you run, he runs instead of advancing.

Typewriter44

I do not have to dodge, because he changed his action in post 112. If he still attacks with the katana, I reach the hat before him because his original action did not include running

Typewriter44

I would still reach my fire hat first.

Typewriter44

I sidestep the ink and the slice and grab the hat (if this doesn't work I don't do any of it)

HT?

I think you're not at the hat, but the hat is heading back towards you so you'll be able to grab it soon. The sidestep dodges the ink, but not the katana slice I believe.

Alright. He gets sliced as he can’t change actions

No, that's not the case. I specifically said that if I could not dodge both, I would not do the action. I run diagonally in the opposite direction he sliced from (if he sliced from SE I would go NW, for example)

HorribleTomato

Type does not sidestep and instead gets hit by the ink and the katana.

HorribleTomato

He did not change the comment, CP.

What? I changed the direction in which I was running, so I wouldn't get hit by either.

Hmm. It's better to ask if sidestepping WILL dodge the attack instead of saying that, but I guess you don't get hit on a technicality?

He still gets hit as he has to turn and then run that way and by that time my ink and katana will hit

No, I turned 45 degrees. You can rotate a bit while running, you know

Typewriter44

Reply?

Typewriter44

No, no I wouldn't. You are behind me, let's say you slash from the right and shoot ink straight. Then I would turn 45 degrees while still running, which would dodge both

HorribleTomato

it most definitely dodges the ink, I'm just seeing if it'll dodge the katana.

Typewriter44

Assuming it dodges, which it should, I get my fire hat and have my spikey hat at the ready
