Lancashire

Here's the story as I see it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Rich creates Lancashire. Rich doesn't do much in the team. blackfirestorm666 participates, and does all the leg work. Tries to overthrow Rich, because of his perceived uselessness. Rich leaves the CCC, and has now reapplied (and has been accepted, purely for the sake of this conversation). blackfirestorm666 creates an alternative Team Lancashire, devoid of Rich as an organiser.

What to do?

MY version of events

I joined the team and got promoted to admin almost str8 away by rich stating that he "needed help" with the team. So i set about doing everything from recruiting members to the team sorting vote chess and normal matches out for the team.

I asked numerous times for help from him  yet i even had to find my own admin (chess1551) to help run the team. Rich then made me into super admin in recognition of the work i had put into the team.

I then created another group to try and get rich more involved with the running of the team yet STILL nothing happened, so i took the decision (whether right or wrong) to remove rich from Team Lancs.

After a massive argument he was reinstated back onto the team and i left where i then created my own team, Lancashire Lads and Lasses. Rich then leaves the group and due to my past participation already within the county championships Alex then made my team into the representatives.

NOW rich has reapplied back to the championships despite having left. Alex has been put in a very awkward position here so i suggested to let u the members of this council decide on whether rich's Team Lancashire or mine should stay.

I think the rival houses of lancashire should fight it out, and the winner given the title of Team Tudor.

I would say Donna's team should get the priority as she has done most of the leg work for both of the Lancashire teams and she has done a superb job, my moneys on her

Sorry but looking fairly at the situation I feel it is unfair to exclude the original team Lancashire because blackfirestorm sabotaged the team by booting the creator who had instated her.  Nowhere does it say that all superadmins *have* to be active.  I think blackfirestorm should stay superadmin of the original team and be content with that.

I would love to see her keep up a team as she strikes me as a great admin who has enough time and love for this site and I'm sure she'll do a better job than rich ever could, but the above is my honest unbiased opinion.

Broze has a good valid point, but which ever team represents Lancashire should be strong and run correctly, and if that means Donna going back to the old team that could be the answer, she has proven to be invaluable to the old team and has recruited about 80 percent of its current membership within a few weeks of taking up an admin position

Rich created the team yes with a view of playing in these county championships yes but did he do after that???? not a thing. he is a lazy kid who thinks more of slicing his own wrists than running a team correctly.

Even if he offered me my old job back i wouldnt take it coz i cant work with someone who views life with so little respect.

I understand wot broze says but a team needs a leader not just someone who wil pass on the buck coz he cant be bothered to do it himself

You would have to have a connection with Yorkshire rich to be eligible for the county championship games, if you have then you are more than welcome to join us

 who run the team rich??? who got most of ur players rich??? who sorted out all the championship stuff out rich??? ME ... if u didnt have time then why talk for hours with friends about how u need to buy loads of long sleeved jumpers to cover ur wrists?

Rich personal digs are not going to do you any favours, please be grown up and discuss this correctly, as for the county championships and also on the front page of the Yorkshire page states this,

"A team for all Yorkies at home or in foreign parts. We play team chess and vote chess and we get together to talk total rubbish as well. If you are proud of your county and want to be a part of our team please join. This Group is now part of the English County Championships. Members joining from now on must be associated with or born or living in Yorkshire. Any existing members already joined but not fitting these requirements are always welcome to stay but will not be eligible for any county matches once they are set up."

Being in 2 counties at one time would constitute a conflict of interests wouldnt you think

 and that there too is a lie coz u left 2day a fill 12 hours after being reinstated back on ur team

Then run it with him!  Both be super-admins.  I don't understand the problem, if I were in rich's position (annoying as he can be lol) I would definitely feel hard-done-by if my team were removed.

Nope, not allowed. You can only be in one county. Hence the need to register everyone...

 broze have u seen this??? he is actually planning on joining yorkshire team ... i tried running it with him but he didnt even come into the group notes to welcome new members ... myself him and Tony had a meeting 4 days ago discussing wot needed to be done ... he was given the responsibility of welcoming new members and he couldnt even do that

Rich you dont fall into the categories required for team Yorkshire, ie you dont live there, you were not born there and you dont work there so I am not able to approve you at this time

Would it be out of the question for rich to be in the original team, with blackfirestorm and the other user she mentions being the Super Admins for it? Rich did create the group, so I suppose it is logical that he should be one too. If he doesn't want the responsibility, and it was you two on your own, I don't see how that would matter? He would just be a Super Admin in status, rather than in the team, but not being a Super Admin.

wot is wrong is making someone admin then leaving them to do everything rich i asked u countless times for help but u just couldnt be bothered

I might also point out that rich's Lancashire team predates the idea of the County Championship. So by no means was he signing up to take part in it, he was merely invited to take part.

 i could work with that but rich would never agree to it
