Launching new (web) notifications system

I did receive notifications for clubs I have never been a member of.  That's been fixed?

Yes, that was fixed a while ago. Do you remember when did you receive such notification? Perhaps you've encountered it today, but it was probably stored one or two months ago. Because we were running two notifications system side-by-side, 'old' notifications are still storing, today we just switched read traffic to a new system.

Yes, that is in line with what I wrote. You didn't receive them today, they were actually sent a long time ago. Similar to these old game notifications users were reporting. They haven't been sent today after I activated new system, they were sitting there for a while, and haven't been deleted automatically when they should have been. That's why in the initial post I emphasized that as a possibility and how to deal with it.

Yes, I understood.  What I was puzzled by is why I was receiving notifications from clubs I have never been a member of.  They are gone now anyway.

How do i stream

Was a new version rolled out just now? My notifications jumped and I got a bunch of old notifications.

We had to temporarily stop new notifications. Things should be back to normal now.
