Lc0

Would it be possible to get analysis by Lc0 and/or have Lc0 in the Live Chess Computers? It would be especially cool if we could compare Lc0 and SF analysis side-by-side. Obviously I don't know if the logistics of this with Lc0 being a GPU engine are possible, but I think it would be cool.

Lco isn't owned by chess.com.

Neither is SF. They're both open source.

I've never used or seen Lc0 analysis, but if it is anything like A0, the way it evaluates a position is nothing like standard engines, using centi-pawns. Not sure how comparable it would actually be in that case.

chess.com owns stock fish and komodo

As jaredjm posted, Stockfish is open source. It isn't owned by the site. Komodo is closed source and was acquired by chess.com.

'Open source' means that the code can be edited and developed by anybody. You can go to GitHub and download the code for either SF or Lc0 (and quite a few other engines.)

@Martin_Stahl I have Lc0 on my chess GUI on my computer, and it gives me centipawn evaluations, so ... I'm not exactly sure how that worked, but it does. happy.png
