Live Play: Mouse vs TouchScreen

Hi chess.com,

It's so unfair that PC mouse users have tremendous advantage in blitz when playing against players on Android Touchscreen. The reason is that Mouse users can hold a piece in advance even before the opponent finishes its current move. That's what we also (legally) do in OTB blitz making the response almost instant. Android Touchscreen players on-the-other-hand can't hold its piece in advance unless the opponent finishes its move. The dissadvantage becomes obvious as time is running out. For that reason I suggest a fair play by allowing Android users to touch its next move in Advance.

Note: I'm not talking about pre-move.

Thanks

Pretty Much agree.  Pre move ITOH is a feature at ICC for instance.I would like to see it here as well

Hi BigAlex,

I know how pre-move works But it's Not what i meant. I was suggesting an ability to select or tap our intended piece in advance before our opponent finishes its current move.  PC mouse users here in chess.com can already do that for ages which results to big clock advantage when playing against Android touchscreen players.   This is NOT pre-move because our intended reply is just selected but not yet placed to the destination square.

Good idea! And that is already in the works :).

Jhorwin,

ICC android app lets you drag the piece and hold it just above its probable square while the opponent is thinking. As soon as he makes his move, you drop your piece in the right square.

Besides that, you can pre move it if you want.
