tbh would be nice if chat could just get popped out entirely. Similarly, there should be a way to more effectively resize your teammate's board (rather than having to play around with the window and the mini-divider thing). BabasChess (client that can be used for bug on FICS, like Thief, or several others), for example, has been around for ages, and has far more functionality. Just allow for uniform split-screen, or allow the board component as well as the chess component to both become popouts/resized. Seems trivial enough.
