Um so my 1.17 caves and cliffs came out and I don't really find the difference between 1.16 and 1.17 except the goats and the ore textures, I started my world in 1.16 I have been into the caves for 1 hour around bedrock level looking for caves, I got none.

The Caves and Cliffs update has been split into two updates.

1.17: Mostly blocks and mobs, including candles, goats, axolotls, tinted glass, etc.

1.18: New world height, better mountains, caves, etc. (With some other features.)

1.18 is planned to be released near the end of the year.

Wardens will come out in 1.18
