Chapter 21

Vanishing totally (we think) from the world, The Chess Mafia. We use this moment to take off our hats and have a moment of silence for that kingdom which has been known in the early days of the war as the 'most violent kingdom' This title has since been forgotten and has not been used on the new 'violent' kingdoms involved in this never ending war.

This is not the only funeral we will be having this day. Coolest Chess is also leaving the world for a hopeful more prosperous world. Fortunately for Coolest Chess the leader of them did not destroy every being in the kingdom like The Chess Mafia did. It seems that Coolest Chess may have a bright future in another world. In another time.

In other news this week we see the rivalry of Road to GM and Place For Patzers growing into a great thunderstorm. These once peaceful kingdoms are what The Chess Mafia and Road to GM were at the beginning of the war. It seems like PFP has taken TCM's place as that 'violent' kingdom in which TCM was once nicknamed. Will there be threats of a world war again? Can this war be called a world war? Or is it just hundreds of small little wars between other small little kingdoms?

Place for Patzers has grown in the couple months they were in this world to the size of R2GM's massive kingdom. It is a race, who will conquer more? Currently it seems one battle has broken out between the two kingdoms. A5 and A6 brutally fighting. R2GM on A5 and PFP on A6. The kingdom to win is yet unknown. Place For Patzers with the Killer Kings alliance or Road to GM with the Bruh Alliance.

Other alliances are working to confront the Bruh now, too. After the loss of Global Chess Community and then Place for Patzers the Bruh is no longer dominating the world. The rival alliance called 'Anti-R2GM Arm, Navy and Air Forces' has accumulated the strength equal to that of the Bruh, which contains the kingdom of Road to GM. This Anti-R2GM army has been pinching at Road to GM for a while now. We Are Back, part of that alliance, has managed to take a whole territory from their arch nemesis. This gives the Anti-R2GM alliance great hopes.

Since Place For Patzers has left the Bruh Alliance and joined Killer Kings that alliance has been thriving after more land. PFP, as always, trying to destroy every last little kingdom out there, but also trying to recruit kingdoms. Place For Patzers offering some kingdoms some of their land in exchange for allegiance. This is a great huge offer that few will turn down.

Another very small, but possibly strong, Alliance called the United Medieval Front. This alliance contains the once great kingdom of Scholar's Mates. They were the first to let Road to GM know that they could not dominate the world as easily as they thought. In the third Multi-Kingdom War in the war Scholar's Mates threw Road to GM down and now they sit in this small, uninteresting alliance.  Is there a great big plan brewing? Is Scholar's Mates waiting in the shadows? Another kingdom in this alliance is the Chess Special Forces. They have recently managed to secure a location in the East on I8. This is just north of Road to GM's I7 territory. Recently TCSF released their feelings on being a bordering kingdom to Road to GM. They wrote as they attacked I9:

"With R2GM on our doorstep, we have to do something. We are securing the northern flank for the UMF [United Medieval Front]"

Chapter 22

In the wake of the disappearance of The Chess Mafia, the Killer Kings Alliance has worked to gain a foothold on the map, which is currently ruled by the Bruh Alliance and the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces, championed by Road To GM and Super Chess Masters respectively.

As many clubs scrambled to become the next "Most Violent Kingdom," Place For Patzers was seen as the undisputed conqueror of the map, behind the bulk of the strength behind the KK. Until they, like The Chess Mafia, disappeared. Attempts have been made to reach out to the owner, but he seems to have completely vanished as well.

Without PFP, the KK lost multiple territories. The United Medieval Front managed to secure territories in the Northwest that once belonged to PFP. This coming in as The Chess Special Forces has suffered defeat in the Northeast, losing their square on I8 to Always At The First Place. The club then managed to lose their square on C7 to the Daily Match Killers in the Killer Kings. Without many battles, the United Medieval Front is seen as a dead alliance according to the latest reports.

The Revolutionary Front also appears to be a dead alliance, with few clubs on the map, and none of them attacking. What squares they do have are coming under attack from the KK and the UMF, which is desperate to stay in the map. Nobody can tell whether or not both alliances will be consigned to the waste bin of history, and what will happen to the clubs.

In the meantime, the ARANAF, as well as everybody else, was surprised to see that one of the new clubs arriving from the outside was named "The Chess Mafia." Scouts sent by the UMF report that this Chess Mafia is ran by the same person who led TCM as it conquered the map before it disappeared. Some clubs are panicked, some are hoping to ally, and all are confused.

As KK has began to climb back up, the ARANAF managed to take several of R2GM's Territories in the center of the map, officially placing Super Chess Masters as the club with the most territories. KK, being desperate to gain strength, might turn on the ARANAF in order to gain territory wherever it can. The Daily Match Killers have launched several attacks to carry out this goal. R2GM is currently under attack from both sides, and this might just spell the end of the Bruh Alliance.

Chapter 23

In the wake of the advance by Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces in the South and Southeast, many other battles are being forgotten as other Alliances decide to have truces to combat the growing threat. The Killer Kings, which is rising to dominance in the Northwest, is turning its guns on the ARANAF. Their leader, @CDRED141, took notice of how the Bruh Alliance in general and Road To GM in particular was losing territory fast to Super Chess Masters, and decided to go recruiting, issuing this statement:

”I can see that SCM is smashing bruh. I am willing, to let a few of the BRUH clubs to join KK if they wish. I always said that they would be destroyed one day. So, I am giving you an opportunity. You can join KK and have a new group that’s will help take down SCM or, KK will wait until SCM beats bruh and then we will come in and take over and all bruh clubs will not be allowed to join.”

Given that the statement was not only an offer of a truce with the Bruh Alliance, but a threat against them as well, the Bruh leaders refused to fully work with the KK.

One Alliance that is also getting involved in the debate is the Revolutionary Front. This alliance is being carried by Always At The First Place. Like ARANAF, the RF was set up by @Rauf_Us_Sabid, and therefore is opposed to R2GM by nature. AATFP Leader @AnkitMaine_at_chess1 declared that this was the opportunity to destroy the BA once and for all. AATFP declares that all Alliances should fight the BA and not the ARANAF. @Rauf_Us_Sabid declared that KK should be taken out before BA. This specific argument shows that greater infighting could break out among the Anti-R2GM factions in the near future.

AATFP cannot take out the BA all by itself. The RF has launched very few attacks, and is coming under fire from all sides. Despite the fact that they own a few territories in the Northeast, the KK, BA, and ARANAF are all attacking them, trying to gain territory in the Northeast for themselves. At a Bruh Alliance summit, one of the leaders was caught saying that the Northeast is the best place for the BA to attack, so that they can secure territories for their fight against SCM. But with ARANAF also moving on the Northeast, time is of the essence. A group of people analyzing the war called the Reporting Coalition has determined that all the clubs are attacking AATFP because it provides the best chance for securing territories and supplies that are needed.

In an article that the Reporting Coalition recently issued titled “On The State Of The Revolutionary Front,” it remarked that if the RF is to survive, it needs to go on the offensive. The alliance is encircled by enemies, and, according to the article, will die if it does not secure more territories. The writers of the article also warned of a similar fate for the United Medieval Front Alliance, which has only one battle going on right now. The Chess Special Forces, while they held territories on the land, was the most active club in the UMF, launching attacks in the Northwest and Northeast, but now they have lost all their squares due to their exploits.

Looking for a way to get back onto the map, agitated at how the UMF has little action, and worried due to the predictions of the article, TCSF owner @ChessPawn921 decided to quit the Alliance. He announced his intention to quit at a UMF Summit, in which he angrily blasted Allied club leaders @rohtihbala and @ChessHistoryRocks for their lack of activity before storming out of the meeting room. Since TCSF currently has no land in the region, the UMF did not lose any land, but they did lose one of their strategists.

@ChessPawn921 is not aimlessly wandering throughout the world. Quite the opposite, in fact. Even before he quit the UMF, he has been plotting his next move. Very shortly after he publicly submitted his declaration of secession from the UMF through the Reporting Coalition, he entered into discussions with club leaders @hypercard and @ScatteredWealth, leaders of Cretaceous Chess and The Puzzle Patzers, respectively. Those two clubs have recently joined the war and taken over cities in the central East, in a region largely surrounded by the ARANAF. The three owners decided to establish a new Alliance known as the Checkmate Federation, of which @ChessPawn921 became the leader. CC had come under attack by a KK club in the region, Good Chess, a club led by @Waterstone33. KK's declaration of war against this new Alliance has turned the Alliance against the KK, a development that likely appeases @ChessPawn921.

KK maintains few territories in the East, and those territories have come under attack by both the ARANAF and the BA, as well as TCF. In addition, TCF has begun attacking multiple clubs in ARANAF. At a meeting, @ChessPawn921 declared that attacking ARANAF head on was the only way to gain territories and not be destroyed, given how ARANAF controls the Center and Southeast. @ChessPawn921 is speculated to be largely motivated by the Reporting Coalition article warning of dire times for RF, and does not want TCF to fall into the same trap. @ChessPawn921, wanting to continue attacking KK, recruited a club called Chess Enthusiasts, led by @Chesscroc11, into TCF, and CE immediately attacked a nearby KK club, Let's Talk About Chess, led by @hughienews. Not only does the strategy of attacking both KK and ARANAF speculated to secure TCF gains, but it also threatens to derail @CDRED141's proposal of KK working against ARANAF with other Alliances. Only time will tell whether or not @CDRED141 will work with ARANAF against TCF, or work with TCF against ARANAF.

With all the action in the East, action everywhere else has largely been ignored by clubs. Between the rise of TCF in the East, all the big alliances attacking the RF in the Northeast, and BA trying to hold out against the large ARANAF presence in the Southeast, the Reporting Front issued an article that states that the East will likely be where the fate of the war is decided.

Chapter 24

As the war has turned more and more global throughout the past few months, many people fled from the villages scattered around the world, moving into select massive cities. One such city is on G3. Not only is the city dealing with an intense number of residents, some before the war and some there due to the war, but the city is positioned between the plains and mountains, and is a hub for multiple trade routes. On top of that, gold has been discovered in mines nearby, causing an influx of miners, unionists from other regions, and leaders of all types from other factions.

Perhaps the influx due to the mining was what made G3 a target for attack by all the Alliances.

The city, currently under the control of Let’s Talk About Chess, has become seen as a valuable location to acquire supplies for LTAC’s Alliance, the Killer Kings, which rules few territories in the Southeast. The region has already become the site of a battle between The Golden 64 Squares, fighting for the Bruh Alliance, and We Are Back, fighting for Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces. At first, it was only a minor skirmish, and Reporting Coalition issued an article on the impact on the cities, in which it states that the main value that ARANAF saw in attacking was getting more troops and support to be able to continue its advance, and Bruh decided to advance on G3 in an attempt to get access to the mountains in the East. Chess Enthusiasts, fighting for The Checkmate Federation, also began moving on the city, turning the site into a battle between most of the Alliances, which has only escalated as all the attackers move their troops and equipment to gain a foothold against the others.

As the intense siege continues, the term “city” no longer applies. The buildings are destroyed, the mines are caved in, the Trade Route leaders have rerouted their lines, and the Unionists have fled. There seems to be no good reason to continue the fighting. But still, it rages on. Between the attacks on G3 and Good Chess (I3) under attack from The Golden 64 Squares on H4 and Cretaceous Chess on I5, the Reporting Coalition issued a report in which they argued that KK is losing its position in the East, which is becoming a proxy site between BA and ARANAF. Reporters for other groups declared that whoever wins G3 will likely be the one to take over the Southeast, which could explain TCF's focus on the area.

This loss of KK territory in the East is being compensated for by gains in the West. In an effort to link up the Northwestern KK bases to the Southwestern KK bases, The Club Of Friendship began moving against the trade outpost on A5 owned by Road To GM, and Daily Match Killers moved to attack the Royal Kings, forming a connection between the Northwest and all the territories owned by Vote Chess Clan, the only KK club in the Southwest.

The position held by VCC is not a good one. Led by @ryanchen100, the Kingdom is surrounded by Kingdoms fighting for the Bruh Alliance. As KK leader @CDRED141 began moving to link VCC to the rest of the KK, BA launched attacks on the VCC positions, likely driving them out of the Southwest. Still, there had been no attacks on the Northwest, where KK largely bases its operations. In the Northwest, KK and BA have only one battle, and while this is likely due to the Alliances being separated by a wide and violent river, the Reporting Coalition began comparing the KK to the United Medieval Front.

The United Medieval Front, which has become a dead Alliance, is basically gone. After The Chess Special Forces decided to leave, the Alliance had only 3 Kingdoms: Scholar's Mates, Your Worst Knightmare, and Red Pawn Chess Team. SM was the only club with an attack, and reporters were wondering what YWK and RPCT were waiting for. It should come as no surprise that they recently disappeared, surrendering their positions to Road To GM and The Club Of Friendship, which gave the base to allied club Daily Match Killers. Scholar's Mates is now the only club in the UMF, and BA has a position in the Northwest. There is a lot of speculation as to why they haven't used it to attack the KK.

The most likely reason is because they are still figuring out who to side with as lines begin to form. While TCF targeted KK and ARANAF, it stayed clear of BA, but then R2GM suddenly attacked them, moving against CE and Cretaceous Chess (through The Golden 64 Squares) and putting TCF against all Alliances except the UMF and the Revolutionary Front. BA then moved to a ceasefire with KK. A group called the Union For Transparency issued a report that The Killer Assassins leader @Redithon engaged in some off the books discussions with Road 2 IM leader @BillBeliChick01, which is also moving against ARANAF. The report argued that gifts and money were exchanged, along with deals over where to attack. In an uproar, inhabitants of the major cities ruled by BA and KK launched uprisings, led by the Unionists. The Union For Transparency alleged that TCF was supporting and supplying the uprisings, and was even meeting with the leaders of Workers' Unions, especially the Miners' Unions and Trade Route Workers' Unions as part of a plan. However, the uprisings seem to have only brought BA and KK together, and while their attention might be diverted, the Reporting Coalition stated that their support for each other to help quell the uprisings has secured ties, and a rapid advance might be in the works. It is unknown if ARANAF and TCF will have a ceasefire themselves, but everyone agrees that a massive battle is coming.

Chapter 25

After months and months of total warfare, it appears that the economic costs have finally caught up with the Kingdoms. All of the armies have run low on funding and supplies, and thus, are not able to send as many soldiers and artillery to the battlefield. As a result, the Kingdoms have started few battles in the past week.

Of course, just because the war is becoming more cold doesn't mean that there is an easing of tensions. Quite the opposite, in fact. Tensions are still as high as ever, and all the large Alliances are putting what few resources they have into winning their current battles. All of the attacks have, contrary to prediction, became more intense as the Kingdoms hope to plunder the resources of other lands to get the resources that they desperately need.

This is especially true, according to a report, with Super Chess Masters, a Kingdom which has launched multiple attacks, fighting for the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces. Thanks to SCM, the ARANAF now encircles all Bruh Alliance positions in the center of the map. However, their advance has also been slowing, and at a recent ARANAF summit, a resolution was passed that they would focus on securing the North before going after the Center, a region where R2GM has been gathering its forces.

In a recent article published by the Reporting Coalition, it was predicted that many of the smaller Kingdoms would take advantage of the grand stalemate and try to launch some attacks, while they still have money and supplies. This is evident with the actions of the Kingdoms in The Checkmate Federation. This Alliance, already planning multiple attacks, has recruited a new Kingdom that is called Not Your Pawn. A group of people called the Trench Analysts, which analyzes militaries and battles, has predicted that NYP is very deadly due to all their artillery. Launching multiple attacks on all Alliances, NYP is expected to give TCF more power and control over more regions of the map. The Chess Special Forces also began moving against ARANAF, going after We Are Back on H3, as part of an effort to defeat the ARANAF in the Southeast while all its armies are in the North. The Chess Grinders, which requested to join the Bruh Alliance but was denied acceptance, has also began trying to claim territory on the map.

A possible reason that the war has died down is not just because it has become costly, but because all sides are preparing for the massive escalation of the war that has been predicted by all reporters and that has all civilians worried. This can especially be shown in the Battle of H3. Here, TCSF has unveiled new rocket launchers, which have reigned devastation on WAB. While WAB is holding out, the new tecnhology being developed by TCF has people worried, even with what are the small battles. Road To GM has also been testing out new tactics to attack fortifications, and in the Battle of D3 against Daily Match Destroyers, they had developed new tunneling machinery to allow them to get into the Command Center at the Base. And while KK hasn't rolled out anyting yet, leaks hint at new tanks in their arsenal, and KK Leader @CDRED141 declared:

"Someone attack TCOF! We have a new weapon!"

All these new developments hint at the fact that the large battle, when it comes, could wipe all life off of the map.

It is possible that the increasing covert war and escalating proxies could start the actual war back up again, and maybe even kickstart the large battle. Motivated by the economic crisis, protests have flared up against CD in particular and the KK in general. The internal politics of the KK is also a factor. After the assassination of previous leader @VeniVidiViciChess08 (it is still unknown who killed him), CD was elected by the Parliament of the Killer Kings, without input from the people. To put that into perspective, Veni was democratically elected, and now people feel like the KK has become too anti-democratic, as the Leadership has suspended the democracy in order to carry out the war. Similar protests have flared up against ARANAF, which has since become more democratic. The Union For Transparency, which has people in all Kingdoms that leak information, alleged that The Checkmate Federation was responsible, and in response, The Club Of Friendship began making plans to attack TCSF. They have not been able to yet, but we can assume that they will not relent until TCF is gone.

If the tiger's head alone is gone, the tiger cannot function, no matter how strong it is. Motivated by that logic, the Bruh Alliance has taken a drastic step: Assassinations. The Union For Transparency argued that the BA snuck operatives to blow up the ARANAF Grand Palace on E4 while the ARANAF Congress was taking place. In response to this, ARANAF began sponsoring uprisings against Road to GM. Some of the ARANAF operatives in charge of this have actually linked up with TCF operatives that were also inciting uprisings, and their cooperation could hint at an alliance. Of course, TCSF's attack on WAB blew that out of the window.

They might have to cooperate, however, if they have any hope of surviving. Between the new technology, assassinations, and armies preparing for war, it is hinted that the large battle will happen in less than a month. R2GM is already moving troops to bases to help prepare, and people now think that the real reason the war died down is not the domestics crises fueled by TCF or the lack of funds, but because all sides want to prepare for the fight. All sides are researching, training soldiers, and escalating their battles. The Reporting Coalition predicted that soon, a new battle will happen, and it will be ruthless and intense, with destruction similar to that which gripped G3. This battle will see the new technologies rolled out, and will start advances that will drag all Alliances in. Perhaps TCSF's attack on H3 will turn out to be the attack that starts this battle, and initiates Doomsday along with it.

Chapter 26

Not even the most courageous reporter could visit H3 this week. The Battle there has escalated, with The Chess Special Forces increasingly rolling out new technologies in order to defeat We Are Back. As soon as TCSF took I3 a few weeks ago, it immediately began developing the labs and research centers in this isolated desert (whose location ensures no collateral damage in experiments), and its uprisings have allowed it to steal information of other research conducted by the other Alliances. Back when TCSF lost I8, they were attacking H8, and left a garrison force there to continue the battle against Let's Talk About Chess. The garrison was finally able to force the LTAC Leadership to flee the Mining Plant on H8, and TCSF took over, securing a position in the Northeast. Allied club Dog Chess Village is also trying to enter the Northeast, linking the Kingdoms.

The defeat of LTAC was documented by multiple reporters, as TCSF enlisted the help of the Miners and Unions to finally storm the office, as part of their strategy of conducting proxy, covert, and information wars in addition to having battles. In addition to the threats from TCSF, the Killer Kings Alliance is also being threatened by the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces. As the ARANAF Congress continues, the Assembly Of The Land has become increasingly concerned about the KK Coalition with the Bruh Alliance, and decided to strike first, attacking Vote Chess Clan in the city on D5 to separate KK from BA.

Another strategy put forward by the Assembly involves cutting the KK in the Northwest off from all their allies and supporters. To this end, Super Chess Masters has moved to C8 and B9, which both border the Port on C9, recently taken over by R2GM. SCM has attacked C9 from all their positions, in a massive siege, hoping to cut R2GM off from supplies delivered via sea, and attack the KK from all sides in an Encirclement.

Hoping to break the Encirclement, a Kingdom fighting for the KK called The 60 Assassins has launched an attack to enter the world, attacking the Naval Base on D9, controlled by WAB. If they win, then they could cut a path through the ARANAF, thus preventing a complete Encirclement and allowing KK to launch an advance in the Northwest. But with Super Chess Masters everywhere, it is debated if KK will succeed in advancing.

Many war watchers question how useful their Alliance with the Bruh Alliance really is. Despite the fact that they publicly form a united front, the Union For Transparency has published articles hinting at tension between the two Alliances. Battles are still ongoing between the KK and Bruh, and even though no new ones have started, there seems to be little coordination going on. At an off the books meeting, @BillBelichick01 met with @hughienews, Deputy Leader, to express doubts.

Frustrated by all the UFT articles leaking classified information, the Parliament Of The Killer Kings issued a statement, through the Reporting Coalition, in which they accused the UFT Leaders of really working for the ARANAF, and claiming that the ARANAF set up the UFT to spread fear and dissent. If the accusations are true, it could shatter the credibility of both the UFT and the ARANAF Government.

Calls to replace the UFT with an independent group of leakers have flared up in E4, the massive city that is the ARANAF capital, along with calls for the ARANAF to be more transparent about its activities. SCM has began suppressing reports in order to avoid them becoming widespread. For this reason, the news has yet to reach the Northeast, where both ARANAF and TCF are making moves. The ARANAF effort there is being led by The Warriors Of The Dark Night, formerly The Chess Mafia, which has changed its name to The Republic Of The Warriors. A referendum held supported rule by TROTW, and by extension, rule by the ARANAF, over rule by Always At The First Place, a government the people see as disconnected from the people and too wrapped up in political disputes to address the problems of the Kingdom.

Hoping to gain credibility, as TROTW has began its expansion, it has officially voided any military research, and has only used soldiers in its battles. SCM is not pleased, but their efforts are making them more popular, and in addition, the news has spread that TROTW isn’t escalating their battles towards doomsday.

We cannot breathe a sigh of relief, however. The Other alliances have escalated their battles, and began new ones. In the Northwest, the KK has decided to begin an advance, and SCM has decided to stop them. In order to gain an advantage, both sides are sending all their soldiers artillery to D8, a training base, and some of the fighting has spilled over into the nearby city of D7. The battle there has escalated, and both Alliances are pinning their hopes on it. Whoever lose at D8 loses the Advance. As such, the siege has become more intense than the Battle of H3. KK has introduced Conscription, making the Parliament even more unpopular, and SCM has made even more deadly artillery. With other KK — ARANAF battles happening, but D7 dominant, and the Alliances pinning their hopes on these battles, it seems that the clash between Alliances that will lead to the large has already began, and Doomsday is now inevitable. However, between the strategy of TCSF and the Alliance governments becoming increasingly unpopular, it is unknown if Doomsday will be just a large battle between the Alliances that will have massive destruction, or a massive Civil War that will bring not only intense destruction, but also absolute chaos throughout the world.

Chapter 27

Following their bombshell accusation against the Union For Transparency and the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces, the Killer Kings managed to sneak an operative into the ARANAF Grand Palace, located in their capital city on E4, where the ARANAF Congress is still ongoing. The Congress has dragged on for longer than projected due to the state of the war, and the recent uprisings against the ARANAF Policy.

The protests on E4 calling for transparency have become more intense, and as a response, the Assembly Of The Land, the supreme governing body of the ARANAF, began suspending some of the democratic proceedings, with a new group called the Political Security Committee controlling who gets elected to positions in the government. This has only flared up the protests even more, and the leaders attending the Congress voted to pass more anti-democratic measures in order to protect the ARANAF. As dissent over the ARANAF policy is growing, the KK has decided to take advantage.

Armies from all Kingdoms in the KK recently met up, and began an attack on C1, an industrial region controlled by the ARANAF. If they win, then the KK could begin a march straight towards nearby E4. A club that is attacking SCM for neighboring D1 is Waldesrauschen, fighting for The Checkmate Federation, an Alliance that is also taking advantage of the dissent in the ARANAF. Following the KK accusations, TCF began sending the Workers’ Unions to E4 to protest, using contacts among the leadership that they developed when helping establish them and inciting past uprisings, and took the opportunity to implant spies in the ARANAF. While they are not at the level of the groups participating in the ARANAF Congress, they still have good positions in the military and government.

The protests have proven to be a useful diversion, as SCM sent troops to E4 to help stop them. This, however, weakened We Are Back’s position and allowed KK club Let’s Talk About Chess to take G2, allowing the leaders to escape the destruction on G3. G2, however, immediately came under attack by TCSF. Their ability to beat WAB has caused intense speculation on their odds of beating TCSF. If they do, the KK gets a solid position in the Southeast, and they get to continue their attack against ARANAF.

An article by the Reporting Coalition claimed that the diversion of the protests allowed LTAC to take G2, as well as support from the Bruh Alliance. Feeling threatened by the ARANAF, the Bruh Alliance has been reported to develop an even closer relationship with the KK, going so far as to share intelligence to form a great flank in the East. However, leakers alleged that this has gone too far. They claimed that it was the Bruh Alliance who supplied information that enabled KK to make their accusation of the UFT being a ARANAF plant.

This leak, while confirming the KK accusation, has turned a negative eye on the Bruh Alliance and their relationship with the KK. We Are Back declared that the Bruh Alliance sent their information to the KK so that if the accusations were false, KK would take the heat and not them. The Party of Bruhdom, the sole political party in the Bruh Alliance, declared that removing leakers was of the highest priority, and as such, the Bruh Alliance Government began an extensive surveillance program in the hope of catching the leakers. They have also began restricting everyone’s movements to prevent people finding information and leaking it. This has huge implications, as TCF noted at a Governance Council meeting that the Bruh Alliance can no longer claim to be morally superior to the ARANAF.

Hoping to cast all the Alliances in a bad light, the Kingdoms in TCF began multiple attacks across all frontiers, striking at the KK, BA, and ARANAF. Dog Chess Village has began attempting multiple attacks against Always At The First Place. LOTR Chess Team, which has aligned with the KK, has taken over the city controlled by The Puzzle Patzers, which fights for TCF and is now debating where to attack to get back onto the world, an issue that is frequently debated in the Governance Council. The Killer Kings has also began an expansion, with The Club Of Friendship going after Scholar’s Mates on B8, the last territory controlled by the United Medieval Front. Analysts portray the recent attacks as an attempt to gain superiority in the imminent doomsday battle.

Hoping to curtail this escalation, leaders in the Kingdoms decided to reestablish the United Kingdoms of Chess. The UKOC declared that it would work to ensure peace, and welcomed all Kingdoms. The Killer Kings appears to support the UKOC, with The Club Of Friendship immediately joining. The issue of whether or not to support them has come up in the ARANAF and BA alike, and we cannot say what will happen. What we do know, for certain, is that as these attacks continue, the power of the UKOC will be questioned, and with the questioning will likely come the start of the doomsday battle.

Chapter 28

Many more leaders throughout the world are getting concerned about the shift of the Alliances towards more authoritarian stances. Some believe that this will lead to civil war, and others are concerned that rival Alliances will try to take advantage. The Reporting Coalition recently published an article titled “On The Rise Of Authoritarianism In Alliance Politics,” in which they compared the structures of the 3 large Alliances. While the Party of Bruhdom was always described as authoritarian, the ARANAF has been getting more and more similar. Following the ARANAF Congress, the Political Security Committee appears to have replaced the Assembly Of The Land as the supreme governing body. This 7 member group, designed to oversee who can run in an election, has used its position to put only the supporters of their policies in the government, increasing their control.

While the Representatives for Super Chess Masters in the Assembly supported the new entity, those representing the other Kingdoms are not as supportive, even though they have to fall in line. At a conference between We Are Back and The Republic Of The Warriors, the leaders declared the Committee as the next stage in the rise of @derbest1, Leader of SCM and the ARANAF. Only 1 day later, We Are Back, which had lost some of its territories, disappeared, with its leaders and soldiers fleeing their last remaining domains. The Republic Of The Warriors President @Rauf_Us_Sabid also momentarily disappeared, going silent for a few days, and then disappearing completely. While the war watchers believed that The Checkmate Federation was involved, he resurfaced a few days later as @ExiledBoy17, and still directs the war, even though he has chosen to not reclaim his seat as President.

Sabid is not the only one to have disappeared. Around the same time, Killer Kings Leader @CDRED141 also went inactive, nowhere to be found. As the Killer Kings searched for a new Leader, The Checkmate Federation decided to take advantage of how the Parliament Of The Killer Kings elects the leader on their own. Just like before, the Parliament elected the leader, who was @hughienews. The pro-democratic faction of the Parliament issued a statement calling for an election, and some members even linked up with TCF's Agency For Political Outreach, the group in charge of inciting dissent.

This is not the only crisis that @hughienews has inherited. Battles between the KK and its ally in the Bruh Alliance have began to flicker, but the lieutenants on both sides are questioning why they were sent to fight allied. While Daily Match Killers has not defeated The Royal Kings, the Bruh Alliance managed to remove Vote Chess Clan from the world. As a public gesture of support for the alliance, DMK decided to donate one of its territories to Road 2 IM, a Bruh club. DMK lost their city on A7, however, to Chess Nerds 101, leaving them with only 1 territory, which has resulted in the debate over whether or not to make another Kingdom the Vanguard for the KK.

In keeping with their strategy, The Checkmate Federation has decided to take advantage. As Not Your Pawn was losing against Road To GM on A8, Waldesrauschen attacked A7, trying to enter the Northwest, the heart of the KK. TCF has also begun attacking the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces, with The Chess Special moving against The Republic Of The Warriors, which controls the outpost on G8 TCSF had wanted to take for a while. Since TROTW is the democratic faction in the ARANAF, volunteers from all sides came to support them, in the hope of bringing democracy back to the world.

Many of these volunteers are soldiers from the other Alliances who are not on duty. A report revealed that many of them were Bruh, and that has caused speculation. As the Party Of Bruhdom, the sole Political Party in the Bruh Alliance, is authoritarian, the Reporting Coalition declared that the Politburo believes democracy is weak, and has supported TROTW to weaken the ARANAF government. Others see it as an attempt to defeat TCF. Still, as ARANAF has began taking squares from the Bruh Alliance, they are said to go to any lengths to weaken them. Perhaps supporting TROTW could be seen as a gesture of amnesty and an attempt to make SCM the sole ARANAF member.

SCM has not taken kindly to these reports. As it seeks to advance its position in the West, it has come into unexpected resistance. It has began few attacks, but reports indicate troops and artillery gathering in the base on B2, to prepare for a massive attack. With them preparing, the Bruh Alliance has launched artillery bombardments to divert the armies. This, along with their support of TROTW, even though it is not official, has escalated the tension with ARANAF.

Likely in preparation for this upcoming battle, which is now being predicated to be the start of the Doomsday Battle, all Kingdoms have stopped launching attacks for a week, and took the time to discuss truces and deal with their domestic policies, as ARANAF moved to legitimize the Political Security Committee and the KK debated whether the Alliance should be restructured. As attacks eventually began to resume, with all Kingdoms starting battles to gain more land in preparation for the Doomsday Battle, and as a result of the changing KK Leadership and dissent, the Bruh Alliance began debating whether to keep their Alliance with @hughienews, new Leader of the KK. The 2 sides met to negotiate.

The negotiations over continuing the truce ended with @hughienews offering to send troops to prepare to pre-emptively attack B2. While some the Bruh negotiators supported the move and others called it escalatory, starting a dispute within the BA, a person in a hooded cloak that claimed to be a rising diplomat appeared at the newly constructed R2IM Citadel on C6, an isolated valley in the mountains where a key base is located, where the negotiations were taking place. The KK negotiators and leaders decided to bring him in on the details, and after learning about the dispute, he declared that the ceasefire would continue and then took off his hood, and underneath, equipped with armor and new weapons, was @CDRED141.

Chapter 29

We do not know how surprised @BillBelichick01 and @hughienews were when they discovered that @CDRED141 was alive. However, an interview with a member of the Central Committee of the Party Of Bruhdom revealed that the Bruh leadership was relieved CD was back, so that they could keep their ceasefire and continue fighting the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces, which is becoming a considerable threat across the North.

The strength of the ARANAF was boosted this week when Always At The First Place, the only club fighting for the Revolutionary Front, elected to leave the Alliance and join the ARANAF. Despite their armies not having launched any attacks or done any drills in the last few months, the ARANAF Leadership decided to let them in, most likely so they could gain a more solid position in the Northeast, in which The Checkmate Federation is trying to gain some ground. Following AATFP’s switching sides, M-NATO held a Conference Meeting, in which they almost unanimously voted to remove the Revolutionary Front, ending one of the oldest Alliances of the war.

The North appears to become a hotbed for a new war. The Chess Special Forces on H8 is now surrounded by the ARANAF, and has decided to attack, escalating their attack on the massive city and trading post that is G8, controlled by The Republic Of The Warriors. Their battle against The Club Of Brilliant Moves And Tactics for G7 ended in a stalemate, but the intense causalities on both sides did not stop @ChessPawn921 from immediately sending another legion to launch another attack on the industrial region, this time bringing improved artillery. Due to all the attacks that TCSF is launching, they got 35% of the votes in a poll in which the Reporting Coalition asked citizens across the world which Kingdom they thought should become the next “Most Violent Kingdom.”

Despite the actions of TCSF and an attack by Chess Nerds 101 on I8, controlled by AATFP, from the Outside, the Northeast is a relatively peaceful region. The Southeast, on the other hand, is once again becoming the focus of reporters. The Southeast is where many new Kingdoms are trying to enter the World. The Chess Grinders is attacking TCSF for I3, TCSF is still battling Super Chess Masters from the Outside for I2, The Global Chess Club and Apes United, which has recently joined the KK, are attacking SCM for control of I1, Good Chess, which got kicked off of I4 by King Of 64, is trying to get I4 back, a coalition of armies from all KK Kingdoms are fighting Cretaceous Chess for I5, and The Ultimate Titans are attacking LOTR Chess Team on I6. Then there are the battles on the land. In addition to TCF Kingdoms TCSF and Chess Enthusiasts attacking Let’s Talk About Chess, CC is moving against LOTR Chess Team and Chess Club Batch 2022, which is even more inactive in the war than AATFP, all part of a series of advances to gain ground in the Southeast before the Bruh and ARANAF do. We do not know why clubs both in and out of the world have chosen the Southeast, but speculation is because the Bruh, KK, ARANAF, and TCF are in the region, so gaining land there allows Kingdoms to attack any or all of the Alliances. In addition, multiple KK forces and leaders have relocated to the Southeast, in which LTAC has 2 territories and LOTR Chess Team has 1, away from their once center of operations in the Northwest.

The Northwest is also being a target for new Kingdoms. 3 Kingdoms for The Checkmate Federation, Waldesrauschen attacking CN101 for A7, Not Your Pawn attacking R2GM for A8, and The Puzzle Patzers attacking Road 2 IM for D9, which was recently seized from We Are Back. Pawn Killer Club is also trying to enter the Northwest. The Killer Kings has moved their leadership because they only have 2 territories, The Club Of Friendship on B7 and Daily Match Killers on C7. However, we do not believe this makes them any more safer, due to TCF attacking. @ChessPawn921 recently declared TCSF to be the greatest enemy of TCOF, bent on wiping them out, and his Alliance appears to support his stance. Unlike the ARANAF, which is content to largely leave the KK, which the Committee Of War views as insignificant to the greater war, alone and fight the Bruh, TCF likely won’t rest until the KK is also removed from the Alliance list.

War is likely to happen in the South as well, where TCF Kingdoms are launching other attacks to get onto the world. The South is where The Golden 64 Squares, fighting for the Bruh Alliance and Daily Match Destroyers, fighting for the ARANAF, are based. This week, DMD attempted to leave the world, surrendering all its territories to SCM. While that was prohibited by the UKOC due to ongoing battles for those territories, the fact that @derbest1 has a leadership role in DMD has caused the KK to publish a statement, in which they argued that @derbest1 persuaded DMD to leave so that SCM could have an even bigger majority in the ARANAF government, as the representatives from DMD in the Assembly Of The Land have stances that differ from those of SCM.

In response to these accusations, the ARANAF issued a statement of their own, in which they called R2GM hypocritical for calling the Political Security Committee authoritarian, while in reality, the Politburo of the Party Of Bruhdom plays a similar role. The Bruh Alliance is a one-party state, and is therefore just as authoritarian, and the ARANAF declared that they cannot claim the Moral High Ground in the political battles.

The Bruh Alliance Leadership appears to have shifted its tactics to secure a moral high ground in response. While R2GM is a Monarchy that dominates the Party, Road 2 IM is a Republic, and The Golden 64 Squares is a Constitutional Monarchy, despite the fact that @Nightly-Knight, leader of R2GM and the Bruh Alliance, has a major role in its government. It should come as no surprise that following the ARANAF statement, the Bruh Leaders met, and then TG64S and R2IM launched multiple attacks, with R2IM moving their troops to attack TCSF on H8 and TG64S moving their troops to attack CN101 on A7 and Elements Of Fire Chess on F7 and directly fighting TCOBMAT to take back F3, instead of R2GM launching the bulk of the attacks. Analysts believe that the point of this strategy is that the less authoritarian clubs in the Bruh are the ones that take over, and therefore, even though the Party dominates, at the level of individual Kingdoms, the Bruh can claim that is more democratic than the ARANAF, where Authoritarian SCM has most of the territories ARANAF is in charge of. The Republic Of The Warriors, which is the democratic faction, has only 2 territories, while SCM has 29.

With Authoritarian factions dominating the world, the Killer Kings, which @CDRED141 has said should become more democratic, is more likely to get the support of the people, as it presents itself as an alternative to the Authoritarian ARANAF and Bruh, or the warring TCF, which utilizes Total War more than any other Alliance. Perhaps this explains their interest in the Southeast, caught between the Alliances, with the KK having a position there and other Kingdoms entering the world there. Of course, as the KK is working to gain support, it does have other motivations for interest in the Southeast. Here is what the Reporting Coalition wrote in a recent article:

”With The Chess Special Forces having declared itself to be the Killer Kings Alliance’s greatest enemy, the KK is feeling more compelled to destroy The Checkmate Federation, the Alliance that TCSF leads, before it becomes a threat. The KK is also believed to have a strategical agreement with Bruh Alliance, in which they adopt a Divide And Conquer Strategy, with the Bruh focusing on the ARANAF and the KK dealing with other threats, of which TCF is the biggest. The bulk of TCF’s Kingdoms are in the Southeast, which has motivated the KK’s newest allies to attack there to strike at the TCF. In addition, the KK has a position in the Southeast that they feel compelled to defend as much as the Northwest, their center of Operations, so that they have control over critical regions and can start clawing their way back up.“

While it might be a good move strategically for the KK to start fighting TCF in the Southeast, this brings new concerns. As LTAC is already under attack on both its territories by TCF, and LOTR is also attacking TCF, reporters believe that the stage is set for a final showdown between the KK and TCF in general, and TCSF and TCOF in particular. The KK is sending their armies to the Southeast and TCF is sending their armies to the Northeast, all escalating the showdown. And with the number of battles happening, and with the KK determined to survive and TCF determined to wipe them out, it is possible that this showdown is what will start the Doomsday Battle.

Chapter 30

After having done nothing for months, Always At The First Place appears to have finally mobilized its army again. The Reporting Coalition amounted this to a change in Leadership. A few months ago, Road To GM, from their power plant on F9, attacked the seaport on G9 controlled by AATFP. Many of the top commanders, who weren’t interested in starting new battles and instead focusing on domestic events, went to fight. A couple weeks ago, they were killed as R2GM launched multiple airstrikes. This majorly backfired, as AATFP’s new new top brass consists of better strategists who are interested in attacking. AATFP managed to beat R2GM and take F9, and they have begun an attack on The Chess Special Forces on H8.

Their upset over R2GM gave ARANAF supporters across the world great hopes that R2GM would soon finally be defeated. Indeed, they now have a solid position in the Northeast, and are planning to expand southward, into the Southeast, where war is still rampant as The Checkmate Federation is preparing for a showdown with KK. It appears that they are also preparing for a showdown against ARANAF, as TCSF is fighting 3 ARANAF Kindgoms in the Northeast, as well as a Bruh Kingdom. Their fighting all Alliances has raised questions about how long they will survive, especially with AATFP gaining momentum and Super Chess Masters projected to follow.

Super Chess Masters, the leading club in the ARANAF, has had to deal with political dissent that AATFP has not had to deal with, and as a result, the Kingdom has not been able to launch multiple attacks. This happening as an election for the Assembly Of The Land has just happened, and The Republic Of The Warriors gained more seats by forcing the SCM supporters out of the race, in a move to fight how the Political Security Committee oversees elections. With TROTW as the only option on many ballots, the citizens saw their chance, and now TRTOW has 45% of the seats, and they have 2 out of 7 seats on the Committee. The SCM supporters are worried that TROTW could team up with Daily Match Destroyers, King Of 64, and The Club Of Brilliant Moves And Tactics to gain a majority and force democratic reforms on the ARANAF, curtailing the power of @derbest1. This happening as leaks hint at disagreements between @derbest1 and @hiryanli, the leader of KO64.

A few weeks ago, KO64 lost their H6 territory to R2GM, but had left a garrison force behind to defeat Good Chess on I4, eventually beating them and taking over. Their new position is surrounded by The Checkmate Federation, specifically TCSF and Cretaceous Chess. While TCSF has other battles going on in the Southeast, CC managed to take a territory from Chess Club Batch 2022, whose leader has gone into seclusion. CC gained H5, and the Golden 64 Squares took G4, removing CCB2022 from the world. CC then turned its guns on KO64, determined to destroy the Kingdom before it becomes a threat. Following this attack, the ARANAF Kingdom Leaders had a Conference, in which @hiryanli said they needed to focus on the Southeast, but @derbest1 declared that he wanted to focus on R2GM, who had taken C8 from them, and deal with the domestic situation, a situation which @hiryanli and @ExiledBrother17, being more democratically inclined, were not as concerned about. The meeting ended with multiple disagreements on the Alliance’s next steps and domestic policy.

The next day, SCM left the ARANAF.

There is intense debate over why @derbest1 decided to leave the Alliance he is in charge of. Following his decision to withdraw SCM and DMD, the Trench Analysts, a group of people from all over the world who meet frequently to research and analyze the war, had a meeting to discuss possible motives. Here is what they wrote in an article they published at the end of their meeting:

”According to the Reporting Coalition, the leadership of Super Chess Masters has grown tired of fighting in the war, a war in which they keep losing soldiers and funding. Economists in the Trench Analysts have projected that if SCM continues leading the crusade against Road To GM, they will be bound to enter a recession within the next few weeks. It is likely that SCM’s quitting the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces is a signal that they are interested in making peace with R2GM to avoid catastrophe. Of course, given how @derbest1 was responsible for the establishment of the Political Security Committee, he is likely concerned by the support that The Republic Of The Warriors is getting in the government, and how King Of 64 is also leaning towards a constitutional monarchy. SCM cannot stay in the ARANAF if it wishes to stay authoritarian. Of course, we do not know its next moves, but it is unlikely that R2GM will take as much of an interest in them now, and that might just give SCM the ability to rebuild and secure its political structure.”

With SCM out of the ARANAF, the Alliance has lost a lot of its strength. Unsurprisingly, everybody began to ask questions of whether or not the Killer Kings would stay allied with the Bruh Alliance. Leaders in both the BA and KK had meetings. The Killer Kings leadership appeared interested in keeping the ceasefire, so they could deal with other threats, but the Bruh Alliance had a different stance. Just hours after SCM declared that it was leaving the ARANAF, @Nightly-Knight, the leader of the Bruh Alliance, announced:

”Bruh will be sending its troops into KK Lands to wipe them out soon. This ends agreements of a ceasefire.”

Following that statement, @BillBelichick01, who is the Leader of Road 2 IM and was the intermediary between the KK and BA, announced that R2IM would be leaving the Bruh Alliance and switching over to the KK. Around the same time, @hiryanli declared that KO64 would be leaving the ARANAF and also joining the KK. This comes as surprising news, as just one hour before, @hiryanli had a meeting with @ExiledBrother17 to discuss the future of the ARANAF, in which they agreed that now was the opportune time to make ARANAF the Democratic Alliance, but instead of leading a democratic effort, the Kingdom that was becoming a constitutional monarchy switched sides away from this new democracy, in contrast to their actions just days earlier in the ARANAF government.

The next day, the exodus from the ARANAF continued with Always At The First Place also leaving, leaving The Republic Of The Warriors and The Club Of Brilliant Moves And Tactics as the sole kingdoms left in this once great Alliance. After leaving the ARANAF, AATFP Leader @AnkitMane_at_chess1 met with @derbest1 in the base on D7, and following the meeting, SCM and AATFP, along with DMD, established a new Alliance, the Unstoppable Forces. It is unknown what their stance is towards the other Alliances, but it is projected that R2GM will not ignore them for long, as, even though they are not in the Anti-R2GM Alliance anymore, they still have potential to be a threat.

SCM has began launching new attacks, trying to gain some ground for their new Alliance, starting with an attack on G2, controlled by Let’s Talk About Chess. G2 is a region that The Chess Special Forces is also attacking, and the 2 Kingdoms could get roped into a battle for supremacy. For this reason, the Battle of G2 is suspected to be the trigger for a showdown between the Unstoppable Forces and The Checkmate Federation. While TCF is continuing its fight against the ARANAF to gain more land, the fact that KO64, in the Southeast, is now a KK Kingdom has increased the potential for fighting between them and TCF. Not Your Pawn has launched an attack on LOTR from the Outside to drive the KK out of the Southeast, along with the attacks on LTAC, and now that the Bruh has turned on the KK, everybody is now predicting not if, but when the Killer Kings Alliance will be removed from M-NATO and from the world.

Chapter 31

With Super Chess Masters, Always At The First Place, Daily Match Destroyers, and King Of 64 no longer fighting for the Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, and Air Forces, the alliance is no longer seen as being as strong as it once was. In addition, the ARANAF’s new Leader and original founder, Rauf-Us-Sabid, in his current avatar of @ExiledBrother17, has once again disappeared. Former ARANAF Kingdoms SCM and AATFP’s new policy remains unclear, but their new Alliance, the Unstoppable Forces, does not appear to be as focused on Road To GM, and as such, the Kingdom has turned its eyes towards another target: the Killer Kings Alliance. Just 2 days after the UF was established, reports were published that R2GM was moving its troops to attack every KK Kingdom. In an interview with the Reporting Coalition, R2GM and Bruh Alliance leader @Nightly-Knight said:

"We were great rivals before we were good enough to let them stay while we worked together some. The agreement was for the time that ARANAF ruled. Now that they don’t I announced the end of the armistice and will be picking up the war we had with them. Then we begun planning again."

R2GM is not alone in its wanting to expand. Allied Kingdom The Golden 64 Squares has also began a wave of attacks. Many of these attacks are against the KK, in what some see as a move to beat The Checkmate Federation to the punch. Led by The Chess Special Forces, TCF has also begun a wave of attacks, still largely escalating the war in the Southeast and beginning a bid for dominance. Dog Chess Village has moved troops from the outside through allies to attack Always Take The Shot on G3. Other clubs are moving to attack the Southeast, with both SCM and The Golden 64 Squares attacking G2, also controlled by TG64S, which TCSF is currently fighting for control of, paving the way for a great showdown between the Alliances triggered by the battles in the power plants of the region. New light has been shed on the focus on the Southeast by all the Kingdoms. Here is an excerpt from a recent Reporting Coalition article on the topic:

"A recent exploration into the Southeast has revealed that many nomads and indigenous tribes still inhabit the region, largely due to the fact that it was the last region conquered by the Kingdoms of the world. There is also rumors circling among the leaders about economic potential. By recruiting the tribes, the Alliances hope to bolster their armies and get more economic support from the land, which might give them the edge they need to secure this region of the world and claim the advantage in the greater war. Proxy wars among the tribes have been instigated by The Checkmate Federation in a bid to ensure their control of the region, and a reason the Bruh has instigated more attacks is likely to stop these wars from giving TCF Superiority in the region. Had Super Chess Masters still been in the ARANAF, it is believed that they would instigate similar proxy wars among the tribes of the A-File, as despite the lack of economic support, there are still tribes, and the other people there feel abandoned by R2GM."

Discussions about R2GM policy have become escalated by TCSF, in a move to secure uprisings in the Southwest. In response, leaders from all Alliances have ordered an investigation into both R2GM and TCSF. The Southwest has turned chaotic this week, complicating matters, when Your Worst Knightmare returned, beginning an attack on A2, controlled by R2GM, in an effort to get back onto the world. This happening as The Club Of Friendship has beaten Scholar’s Mates on B8, leaving the United Medieval Front with no more territory. YWK’s attack is seen as the UMF’s last hope, and as such, war watchers and leaders alike are intensely watching and debating the outcome.

TCOF's victory over Scholar's Mates comes as part of a new wave of war in the Northwest. In addition to the attacks by R2GM, TG64S has launched new attacks there, in addition to their attacks in other regions. Their attacks are seen as part of an Anti-KK campaign, attributed to the leadership role @Nightly-Knight has in the Kingdom. Chess Nerds 101, a Kingdom not currently in any Alliances, is already under attack from all sides, and has decided to attack TCOF, whose acquisition of B8 might be the turning point, as it gives them a new base of operations. But with the Northwest being surrounded by R2GM, it is unknown if the Northwest KK will last. More attention among reporters and leaders is focusing towards the ATTS territories as the new KK holdout, despite the attacks by TCF.

Moving back to the investigation into R2GM, a group of diplomats and journalists was established to investigate the Southwest, but R2GM immediately ordered a similar investigation into TCSF, a club that people fear is mobilizing for war against the Bruh and KK alike. They determined that while R2GM has done little in the tribal lands, many leaders voted to do nothing so that their way of life will be preserved. An economic investigation has revealed that R2GM is improving conditions for workers across various industries. However, the Alliance is still a one-party state and the Party has power over the government, but the Alliance is not as bad as TCF declares. TCF, on the other hand, was determined to be a military government, with @ChessPawn921, the Leader, also being the Chairman Of The Joint Chiefs Of Staff. The Alliance has a military structure, and a lot of its funding goes to military operations and research.

Leaders are also concerned about TCSF's role in escalating the war, especially with their attack on the great city on G8, controlled by The Republic Of The Warriors. G8 is the base of operations for many international unions, and as such, TCSF is putting multiple resources into a victory, in order to cement their control over the unions. In addition, economic and business leaders from all over the world are having a conference in G8, and TCSF is escalating the attack to take over now and secure economic dominance. TCSF has a lot of attacks going on at the moment, and are believed to be overextending their forces. They likely would have died out if not for military support from Cretaceous Chess and the other Kingdoms, which raises even more questions about @ChessPawn921’s leadership and focus on the military.

TCSF’s actions are keeping the Northeast a warring place, which leaves the Southwest and Center of the world as the only peaceful regions. TG64S does base their operations from the Center, but their attacks are from allied bases in the other corners of the world, and there are no battles in the Center. Thus, both R2GM and SCM, which control the regions, have projected themselves as benevolent and peaceful Kingdoms in the past week. No official constitution has been ratified for the Unstoppable Forces, but no new attacks against the Bruh have begun. The Trench Analysts have debated what policy the UF will take, but they interpret SCM’s leaving the ARANAF as a gesture of interest in peace with R2GM, and now there is a debate over whether or not the UF and Bruh will ally, forming a super-alliance that will finally dominate the world and end the war.

Medieval War Lore

By @ChessPawn921, September 2022

Chapter 32

While the war over the Southeast has been happening for some time, a new war appears to be brewing in the North, where The Chess Special Forces is trying to secure an advantage in the region for The Checkmate Federation. The Anti-R2GM Army, Navy, And Air Forces and the Unstoppable Forces, which many war watchers see as a ARANAF offshoot, appear to have ceased fire to remove TCF from the region. The Republic Of The Warriors and The Club Of Brilliant Moves and Tactics are the only remaining ARANAF Kingdoms on the world, both with squares in the Northeast.

This week, the Leadership of the world and war saw the rise of a new figure, one who could potentially shift the politics of the Alliances even more than they already have been shifted in recent weeks. What happened? Well, the High Council for King Of 64, led by @hiryanli, held a conference meeting. The details have not been leaked, but following the meeting, @zachertz appeared as a major tactician in the war. Around this time, @zachertz was assigned control of the TCOBMAT armies in the wake of the disappearance of @Divyajjuwal. He is also the leader of the military of Some Random Club, a new political faction that declared itself the Kingdom over the lawless land of H7. His affiliations were unknown at this point, and the Trench Analysts stated that KO64 likely promoted @zachertz to convince him to have TCOBMAT and SRC join the Killer Kings Alliance, even though Some Random Club had lost its square to The Golden 64 Squares, part of a recent wave of victories, in which they also took H5 from Cretaceous Chess.

The next day, KO64 reported to the world that @hiryanli had disappeared.

Following his disappearance, the Kingdom was thrown into disarray both in regards to domestic politics and the war. An ally of @hiryanli's named @I_am_Helen was given control of the Kingdom, and @CDRED141, Killer Kings leader, was given control of the military. However, CD attempted to surrender I4, the Kingdom's only territory, to allied KK Kingdom Good Chess, who KO64 had taken I4 from. A wave of protest followed throughout I4, in which @zachertz took a leading role. Concerned, @I_am_Helen gave him control of the armies, but had KO64 remain in the KK while the details would be worked out.

While the chaos was brewing over in the East, one club that has been notably absent from this feuding was Super Chess Masters. Apart from their attack on Always Take The Shot on G2, they have launched no new attacks since the establishment of the Unstoppable Forces. Road To GM, their former archrival, has also launched no new attacks against them. Even though SCM is no longer leading the ARANAF, they were the enemies of R2GM for months, and even though the ARANAF is not a threat, SCM still is the largest Kingdom in the world. But for now, the 2 appear to be in a truce. At a recent SCM meeting, the war was not even in the top 10 of the list of priorities, and R2GM, having other targets, apparently sees no reason to not keep the peace, while they turn the Northwest into the center of a new war.

The Northwest and the Southeast are the last 2 remaining domains of the KK, and there are intense wars in both. R2GM is still leading an anti_KK campaign, but Chess Nerds 101 is leading one as well, fighting for The Checkmate Federation from their base on A7. This week, they managed to beat The Club Of Friendship for control of B7, and are beginning attacks on Daily Match Killers on C7 and Road 2 IM on C6. Also worth noting is the multiple battles for A9 and B9, as well as the R2GM attacks. CN101 has attacked R2GM on A8, and this appears to be the start of a showdown between R2GM's Alliance, the Bruh Alliance, and TCF.

Moving back to the Northeast, a couple of days ago, @zachertz appeared to have revealed his interests. Meetings between him, @I_am_Helen, and @CDRED141 were frequent in the last week, as the leaders decided where KO64 would go moving forward. But @zachertz was reported to also be meeting with @ChessPawn921, TCF leader, in the city on G8 that TCSF recently took from TROTW. Soon after, @zachertz declared that the battle between H8 and G7 would end with no winners, SRC would be joining TCF, and TCOBMAT would be leaving the ARANAF and joining TCF as well, leaving TROTW as the only ARANAF nation in the world and raising the debates within KO64.

KO64 had remained dedicated to the KK cause, but events were complicated further when a hooded figure named @hiryanli2 showed up at KO64 Castle and claimed to be @hiryanli. The Kingdom was split. Was he really @hiryanli or not? Decisions were important, given CD's attempt to gift and @zachertz's other alliances. Around the same time, TROTW was also undergoing a political shift. The current leadership declared TROTW to now be the Ottoman Empire. A few hours later, a revolution broke out, and to pacify the masses, @Rauf_Us_Sabid, the leader of the Ottoman Empire, declared that the OE would become The Chess Mafia. This triggered dissent in the parliament, and so the next day, The Chess Mafia was replaced, again, this time by The Chess Empire. It is unknown if this political shift will cause them to leave the ARANAF.

After TROTW was renamed, republican factions across the world that TROTW supported grew concerned, as they feared that they would no longer have the backing of a nation. They alled with armies of TCE who were also pro-Republic, and made their move. What happened? A while ago, Always At The First Place decided to attack B4, controlled by Imperial Forces, through SCM, and TROTW sent their troops to support them, in a bid to crush an empire. The republicans just linked up with the TCE forces, and managed to stage an uprising and take over. @spideyyy1208 was able to retain control of the government, but had to make it a republic, and the Imperial Forces was renamed to The Republic Of The Warriors. This TROTW appears to have no connection to @Rauf_Us_Sabid, apart from the TCE soldiers and the republicans once allied with TCF, who have since become the leaders of TROTW and quit fighting for TCE, even as AATFP continues their attack.

@spideyyy1208 is a supporter of the Killer Kings Alliance. Being surrounded by R2GM and SCM, he decided that he needed strategical expertise. CD, being the KK Leader, as appointed to head the military. However, spidey also assigned @ChessPawn921 to direct IF forces, apparently having no idea that CP was the leader of the anti-KK charge. CP did accept the proposal, but nobody knows why. CD still has not invited him to any KK leader meetings, and CP has frequently met with the TCF leaders over the last few days, as the political drama unfolds.

CN101's victories were not the only victories for TCF this week. Allied club Zwei Konzertetuden managed to take D1 from SCM, and they are reported to intend to expand. TCSF had taken G8, and now that TCOBMAT is allied with them, the 2 Kingdoms have launched multiple attacks across the Northeast, hoping to take over. Here is a section from a Reporting Coalition article on the current TCF policy:

"The defeat of Cretaceous Chess by The Golden 64 Squares shocked the entire leadership of The Checkmate Federation. Victories by Zwei Konzertetuden, Chess Nerds 101, and The Chess Special Forces have done little to dissuade them of the need to prepare for invasions. @ChessPawn921 has always had a "The best defense is a good offense" strategy, and that is being plainly shown. Perhaps his decision to recruit The Club Of Brilliant Moves And Tactics is a move to subjugate the Northeast and take it away from the ARANAF, and while they have begun new attacks,  the leadership now appears to be more focused on the military than anything. They have already accelerated research, and might issue a draft soon. They have waged war on all Alliances, and yet still seem to survive. On the issue of Cretaceous Chess and the Southeast, CC is putting all their resources into the fight against KO64, both to survive and to intimidate the Killer Kings, and it is likely that the Bruh Alliance will team up with Super Chess Masters, former enemies who have not attacked each other since SCM left the ARANAF, in order to remove TCF from the world."

Reporters were sent to KO64's land on I4 and CC's land on I5 to monitor the battle, and indeed, both sides have put all their resources into this, both sides looking to survive. As CC launched an advance into the village, KO64 declared that new leadership was needed. Zach and CD remained divided over who to side with, and there was still division over the issue of @hiryanli2, who had risen to a position to direct domestic events, while Helen, zach, and CD lead the fight. All the leaders held a conference meeting, in which they still declared that KO64 would remain with the KK, giving them a boost in the Southeast in the war against TCF. @hiryanli2 went to the front, and never returned. Instead, that specific army got a victory in the larger battle, and a new leader returned to deliver a report to the leaders. The leaders were debating when this commander issued the report, and the commander then declared that even though Zach could remain a warlord, KO64 would remain in the KK, and then revealed himself to be @hiryanli. Now back, @hiryanli had resumed control of the battle, and kept the Alliance in the KK. But with their battle with CC turning intense and TCSF gearing up for another anti-KK crusade, but a KK Kingdom, Always Take The Shot, being nearby and willing to supply troops, it is unknown if their decision will keep them alive, or be their downfall.

Chapter 33

With the war turning more brutal, calls for peace have grown louder among the civilian populace, and some of the leaders of the various nations have began to support a ceasefire, but not without advantages for their nations.

This week, the entire eastern region became a worse warzone than it already was, especially in the Southeast. Many reporters have not been able to travel to the region, but what they have learned is that the Bruh Alliance is now making its own territorial claims in the region, escalating the battles and turning the Southeast into a three-way conflict.

Leaks from a recent Bruh Alliance leadership meeting, although fragmented, were published through the Reporting Coalition. A group of leakers claimed that there was a great summit among all the leaders of the Bruh Alliance, in which The Golden 64 Squares, already having battles and bases in the Southeast, requested martial autonomy. This did not go over well, with the Road To GM leaders calling for a more centralized power and military structure, and the TG64S leaders calling for a decentralized military. In the end, R2GM leadership removed some TG64S legions from the Bruh Alliance military structure, and those legions were immediately deployed to the east to fight. With the leaks now out, everybody who follows the war has turned their attention to these battles, as who wins could change military theory and strategy throughout the world, and maybe impact how the war plays out.

One person who has been following the leaks closely is @ChessPawn921. Leading The Checkmate Federation from the Northeast, his position has come under fire. CP's nation, The Chess Special Forces, has launched multiple attacks from the territories of H8 and G8, and the Reporting Coalition predicted in an article that they would lose. As a response to this, TCSF has begun preparing more attacks, and on G7, The Club Of Brilliant Moves And Tactics has begun attacking the Bruh while TCSF fights the UF and ARANAF. This will not be the only decline for TCF. Cretaceous Chess, having lost H5 to The Golden 64 Squares, had lost I5 to LOTR Chess Team. CC had immediately brought in a new army from another world to reclaim I5. Part of the reason CC lost was because its legions were diverted, but the diversion allowed for Chess Enthusiasts to beat R2GM, take G1, and allow for a new wave of TCF attacks.

The attack by Cretaceous Chess stunned the leadership of the world. Reporters have been sent to survey the attack, and it was an utter siege. As a result of this, civilians who managed to escape the destruction told their stories before the United Kingdoms Of Chess, and a resolution was passed to fortify the edges of the continent, to prevent nations from coming from other worlds to inflict doomsday. The decision to set up these fortifications was near-unanimous, and a group of reporters recently travelled to the ocean, and noted that the defenses were lethal and secure, preventing any more factions from entering the world of war, as well as assisting many nations in defending from outside attackers that were already fighting.

Moving back to the Southeast, Chess Enthusiast's victory over G1 has given TCF a greater edge over the region, but the Bruh Alliance has now merged as a dominant force, with The Golden 64 Squares managing to take both G3 and G2, controlled by Always Take The Shot. @hughienews, leading a group of soldiers against Super Chess Masters, who had attacked from F2, was spared, and they managed to take over F2, allowing them to remain on the world and send a message to the Unstoppable Forces.

However, Super Chess Masters has had its victories. They recently took D8 from The Royal Kings and F6 from R2GM, starting a new wave of tension and predictions. SCM had not launched many new attacks since leaving the ARANAF, but having beaten the Bruh Alliance in those already-ongoing battles, there is mounting concern that the Bruh will be preparing to strike back. Concern for this has even infiltrated the SCM government, where, despite its size, the nation is worried about an attack from all sides, that could finally end their hold over the MW world.

These concerns are becoming evident in the Southwest, where Red Pawn Chess Team, a kingdom that had been inactive, had returned, launching an attack on A1, controlled by R2GM, in an attempt to get back onto the world. Once again led by @FIRESTORMTHIEF instead of @rohithbala, RPCT has thrown the bulk of their forces into the attack, and the battle has turned bloody as R2GM met them with equal force. Other battles in the Southwest include a clash between The Royal Kings on B3 and The Republic Of The Warriors on B4. In TROTW, concerned by how the nation was fighting both TRK and SCM and eager to regain control, @spideyyy1208 staged a military coup and arrested the republicans in his government, and TROTW became The Club Of Fantasy. As a response, @CDRED141 resigned as Minister of War, but TCOF remains in the KK, and CD might just need to support it if it wants to re-establish a position in the Southwest.

As SCM began preparing to defend against invasions, TCSF saw their chance to incite more proxy wars. Union leaders from all over the world met with @ChessPawn921 at the city on G8 in a summit, where they planned their next moves. Many leaders got concerned by CP's countless inciting proxy wars, but CP has always declared TCSF to be the alternative to the authoritarianism of R2GM and RPCT. These issues came up at a UKOC meeting, but were unresolved, and as a response to the proxy wars, R2GM claimed they were benevolent and decided to get rid of the Union supporter, attacking H8. SCM was rendered on edge by the unions, especially as some elements within their government sided with the unions instead of SCM.

Perhaps all the chaos is why @derbest1, leader of SCM, disappeared.

Derbest's disappearance threw SCM into even more chaos than it was already in. The leadership moved to select a leader, intending for one who had popular support and could use it to provide unity and end the chaos. For that reason, @hiryanli, leader of King of 64, became the next leader. Questions across the world broke out over whether or not he, or @AnkitMane_at_chess1, leader of Always At The First Place, would become the next leader of the Unstoppable Forces, and if KO64 would leave the KK and join the UF. Other changes have happened as well, as @BillBelichick01 resigned as R2IM leader before @derbest1 disappeared. Bill gave his position to @hiryanli as well, who quickly resigned and gave it to @rohithbala, who pulled out of the Killer Kings, removing their connection to the outside world on D9 but not having much of an impact on the KK and R2IM. And in The Chess Empire, the Leader, as well as the leader of the ARANAF, @Rauf_Us_Sabid, once again disappeared. He returned a few days later as @OttomanSultanAndKhalifa before going on a tour of the world to see the current state of the war, changing The Chess Empire to The Chess Monarchy before he left. All in all, his disappearance and tour did not have much of an impact either. But in SCM, @hiryanli's takeover ended chaos and started chaos. And in the chaos, R2GM saw their chance.

R2GM, having focused on the KK, had originally paid SCM little attention after they formed the UF, and the rest of the Bruh followed their lead. However, motivated by what @ChessPawn921 had been saying, the Bruh had begun launching attacks. Aside from the R2GM attack on H8, TG64S attacked the TCSF position on I3. TCSF responded with some counterattacks, attacking TG64S on G2 and H4. In the Northeast, TCSF had launched 2 attacks on SCM, and AATFP had been launching attacks throughout the Northeast. R2GM then started attacking nations across all the Alliances, sending in all their soldiers and diverting all their spending to the military. TCSF, in their attacks, had been doing the same thing, and worse, they had developed better destructive technology that they have no qualms about using, and apparently have given the technology to their allies, to use as well. The Southwest, Northwest, entire North in general, Northeast, entire East in general, and Southeast, have all become intense war zones, with battles everywhere and destruction intense. As the fighting has intensified, reporters, war watchers, and everybody else across the world have come to the same conclusion:

The Doomsday Battle is happening right here and now.

Had to come up with something to explain the name change, and it tied in nicely to what I wrote about their name change last chapter.

CDRED141

Huh.

CDRED141

8/10.

I think I wrote a good story for the name change in Chapter 32.

R2GM attacked SCM for many reasons and none were because of what CP was saying. However, I understand if it looks that way from outside of the kingdom.

I will not correct them, but some of the leaks aren't True. Who cares though.

SCM has been taking R2GM territories. In fact, has taken the most of all other enemies. We have been preparing to decimate them and we will.
