This week started off with much conquering. Road to GM suddenly conquered many territories this week and actually has caught up to the major kingdoms such as Global Chess Community and Elements of fire that had went on huge campaigns across the world for more land.
After earning A9 and giving it to The Chess Mafia we can be assured that Global Chess Community and the Chess Mafia are to be closely linked to each other in a bond that will not easily break. This may be bad news for anyone who might have been attempting to conquer them. Global Chess Community is not week. They are global, and they are a community. This very name tells us that they are strong.
It seems that Road to GM is on a campaign to get to Global Chess Community. First they took out Passion on D9 and their first target after that was Mr Beast on C9, the direction of the major land occupation of GCC. And the territory donates to TCM from GCC. However, On E9, right next to R2GM now is Global Chess Community. Will R2GM and GCC get into a war here? Or will they remain peaceful? It has been rumored that R2GM is just looking for easy prey and intends to just sit at the borders of its enemies just to intimidate them. They did attack WAB as soon as taking their troops to D9, though. This step solidified We are Back's attachment to The Chess Mafia and their destruction of the N-S alliance way back.
A new sect of people that broke from the Bright Suns kingdom has been started and there intent is to destroy Road to GM (at least that's what it seems) we don't know whether or not 'Bright Planets' as they are called is trying to help Bright Suns, but they are attempting to bust Road to GM on G1, just bordering on of Bright Suns' territories.
The Bright Sun Kingdom was thrown into a small civil war this week which lead them into a time of tumult. Kingdoms around them may be looking to conquer the shattered kingdom. It seems like Bright Suns leaders could not agree on certain rules of government and soon the kingdom was warring. Bright Planets might just be a group within this civil war that broke off to try and make their own name. It is worthy of noting, though, that they did not attempt to attack Bright Suns, but a bordering territory of Bright Suns.
Through the week rumors were spread of Elements of Fire having conquered B4 from Chess Club Batch 2022. However, contrary to popular belief, it was not true. Elements of Fire was not even fighting against Chess Club Batch 2022. It seems that EOFC may have made these rumors for their own good. They did fight, however and it is possible that they actually injured CCB22. Whether they actually conquered B4 remains to be seen.
Chess Ultramasters with their single warrior king, angryspacevoid, has attempted to take down Global Chess Community but has failed again. They are currently not at war and might remain just a wondering sect for a while, they are in allegiance with the Road to GM side of the possible World War, so it would please Global Chess Community and The Chess Mafia to see them gone for good.
D4 was disputed this week. Global Chess Community and The Better Than Awesome Chess Club both beat Bright Moons on d4 but The Better Than Awesome Chess Club won the dispute and took D4. Bright Moons was brutally destroyed by two enemies, one on both sides of the possible world war.
Road to GM continues its conquest in the South-West. They have just taken B2 from Vote Chess Clan. It is strange, the situation between VCC and those allied with the R2Gm side of the possible World War. VCC seems to be sympathetic towards the R2Gm side, and yet R2GM conquered them. Vote Chess Clan might become a TCM supporter after this.
Some might not have thought it possible, but up in the North the kingdom of Nickolay and Friend, with their king, Nickolay himself, have actually taken more land for themselves! This small kingdom was not expected to accomplish this, but they have and now they might now be sought after for allegiance in the coming World War.
We see the week closing but the action continues, Chess Club Batch has taken action D2 from Official Club Wars Playing club. This news is also interesting, just like The lord Nickolay's kingdom. Not many had put much faith in these small kingdoms and now that many small kingdoms were destroying others it was apparent that strength doesn't always come in numbers.
As the week closed a major piece of land was found known as G2 and war broke out as to who should own it. Many kingdoms rushed to the spot to claim but others were already there. In the end Scholar's Mates ended getting G2, but only after a vital defeat from R2GM.
