If you make pawns promote to bricks and give futer pawns then it is possible maybe. With enough patience you can figure it out. Wait, I just I got an idea for a new variant!

If you make pawns promote to bricks and give futer pawns then it is possible maybe. With enough patience you can figure it out. Wait, I just I got an idea for a new variant!
Then all the bricks will form on the promotion rank

a square hit by a meteor becomes a crater(brick)
That would be pretty fun for chess.com to add as a gamerule.
