Zombie pigmen? Crossing nether portals? Other than the player, no other mob can do that on their own.
And they can be helpful when another mob attacks them, they're faster than the player when provoked, and they can be trapped with walls.
Actually Pigmen are not the only mob to do that. A zombie from the overworld went to the nether using my only portal once in my old survival world... the portal lead to a kind of.. skywars island, 4-5 blocks in total over a tremendous lava pool, and so I never used it. I wanted to show it to a friend of mine and that zombie got me by surprise... I was lucky not to fall in lava.
Oh yeah... it's not pigmen.
