Missing Club Match Tab in Live Chess

I am missing club match tab in Live chess.

When I try to access club match details though (list from "Tournaments" or through link directly), I don't see match tab, so I can join match neither see the result.

Happening to more users (as discussed in this forum / https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/lcwl2017-season-1-match-links?page=2)

It is relevant to users as some users can access and some not.

It is not relevant to platform / I have tested it in Firefox on MacOS, IE 11 in Win, and Firefox on Android.

It is not relevant to specific matches - I have tested it on multiple links from the forum mentioned above.

Appreciate if you can look into this as priority as it is impacting LCWL competition.

Last I checked, there was no Club Match tab. Unless there's been a change, Club Matches appear under the "Tournaments" Tab.

Club matches are listed under Tournaments, but when open club match details, than new tab is opened. This tab is not opening now. I just see two tabs ( Play and Tournaments ), so I can't see club match details.

If i open tournament, than tournament tab is opened properly.

May one of your or opponent admins cancelled the match.

I am having the same problem. Other members in my team have ben describing the same erm symptoms. The result is they can't join the match. No the match was not cancelled.

Right. For example I saw club match with 7 players joined in the list. But when I clicked on it I went to proper URL but tab was not opened. So it was not cancelled match but active in regiatration phase. But it is the same for all registration, runnning and closed.

I am not sure if there was any fix or something helped, but I can now access newly created match (as above) at least in Android/Firefox. I will try other platform later.

I can see that TM on my Windows 7 PC, Chrome.

Do you still not see it when you log in? Is it possible you set the match for a future date other than today? If so, I think that may be causing the issue.

As said before it started to work shortly after I reported the problem. Now it seems ok on both Android and MacOS. I will update if I face the similar problem again. @bumiputra - please do the same if you or any of your teammates spot the same issue again.

jdcannon, thank you, that is the tab that was not showing.

We do normally set the challenge for the day after. This is in order to have time to properly announce the match in our clubs, post the link, etcetera.

However, I think you mean that the 'match starting time' may have been on the day after, which was not the case.

The match did take place and a few players joined, while others including me couldn't join (and this resulted in a big hands down victory for team Russia by the way wink.png

At the moment, I can't say if the problem is solved for me.

I have to wait for our next match. On Friday, hopefully...

Hello, thank you. Last night we played our League match with team Spain.

Everyone managed to join this time (to my knowledge). 

A certain numbers of players (including again me) experienced a few 'minor' issues such as:

- before match start, we could not see the players' list (which is useful especially for team admins)

- during the match, still no players list visualized and the side tabs kept shrinking and resizing...

I did take a few screenshots but in the confusion that ensued when the match ended, I apparently lost them. I hope what I wrote has any sense for you

I have been getting a few reports of missing players list but for the life of me I cannot reproduce..

 

Any chance you are using Windows Vista or XP with Chrome 49?

Well, yes, thank you. In that last case, I was in fact using Windows XP with Chrome (not sure if it was Chrome 49).

I didn't switch to something different because I didn't want to miss the match. I could still play, I only had this problem with the list.

I guess that could be the problem, right?

Btw I've noticed now it is possible to create matches almost a week ahead. That's a big help thank you!

Also a suggestion. Is it possible to remove the option of cancelling a match 3 hours prior to start ?

Because at the moment if a match is cancelled, no one knows who have cancelled... But in Daily chess, a message being sent by the server saying that Team A has cancelled the match. 

Since it is a live team match, maybe it is better simply not to be able to cancel a match within 3 hours before it gets started.

@bumiputra  I've had maybe 5 complaints so far exactly like yours and all of them were Windows XP Chrome 49.

I think you best option is to try to upgrade!
