This is not bad for the concept itself, but it was a bit drawish because soldiers can't defend each other and they can be deadlocked easily. Hard to advance in the middle game in the center,especially pieces like knights are traded off. you have mentioned orange??

Actually, the submission itself wasn't that bad, but the reuse of an already accepted variant seems not able to be accepted again for CGAs. What's more, a small board isn't really good for a strong pieces fight(for here,queens)although you have sleepy - i mean freeze spells.
