mix of catalan and king's indian

the problem is then they can take & unlike a normal catalan you will have little compensation so I guess it’s not okey to play together

this is still a catalan, just with a delayed c4 which is usually to avoid bishop b4 check lines. here black blayed a substandard moveworder/setup and i would either play c4 on move 3 or 6. Catalan-reti-kings indian attack are all connected and can transpose to each other, you just have to know a few different lines for each such as reversed grunfeld if you are delyaing d4. Ask me if you have any questions because I play all 3. If you really want to learn the catalan I reccomend the youtube channel sam asaka

what if black plays 6. Bd6 and after c4 dxc4 nxc4 the bishop become a target

And what if black doesn't respond to 7.c4 with 7...dxc4?

Bd6 doesnt make a difference and normally is considered slightly worse placed than on e7 in these catalan positions. You dont really have to understand the nuances but even if they play bd6 notice it stares into your kingside pawns, why would you trade your knight which is very well placed for it?

I would probably play nh4 to win the bishop and then play for e4
why is there two same boards
Don't know and frankly my interest in this topic has decreased greatly. As a parting rhetorical question for you, why are you wasting time with entertaining the thought of 4...Bd7 and 5...Bf5 in successive moves??? d7 is a bad square for the bishop to begin with, but moving it to f5 a move later gives white a free move.
