My accomplished design for Bulldog pieces in 3D models

You are correct, @Sollieman83. Item "l" is the Hunter. And, yes, that is the scythe corresponding to that in the 2D icon.

You're the first to get one of the weaponry trio pieces correct. Can you guess the other two?

Sollieman83

K is a lumberjack

is M a dwarf?

Sollieman83

f is barrier?

BattleChessGN18

- Item 'k' is indeed the Lumberjack.

- Item 'm' is not the Dwarf. (Though, I can understand how one might think it. The item looks like Thor's Hammer. Who constructed his Hammer out of Taproot? Dwarves did. happy.png)

- The Barrier is one of these. But, it isn't Item 'f'.

Sollieman83

is m the builder then?

BattleChessGN18

Yes, item 'm' is the Builder.

f is what your profile picture is right?

BattleChessGN18

How thoughtfully observant you are!

Item 'f' uses the same general design. However, the item in my avatar isn't an actual Chess piece, and it belongs to a completely different variant from Bulldog.

It's a Sumring from my large variant, Deserted Empire. I haven't posted about it yet. grin.png

(For clarification, yes, that's "sum" as in the resulting total product of two or more things being added together.)

The images refuse to load for me, sadly. It's a shame because I'd love to see them 😞

BattleChessGN18

@JustARandomPatzer (aka @Tja_05) You mean it didn't load at all, even after minutes?

I wonder if loading a somewhat smaller file might help.

See if this one works:

Answer key:

item 'a' = Tree (one member guessed correctly)

item 'b' = Dwarf (who'da thunk...)

item 'c' = Angel (at least one member guessed correctly)

item 'd' = Werewolf (multiple members guessed correctly)

item 'e' = Zombie (who'da thunk...)

item 'f' = Spirit

item 'g' = Barrier (who'da thunk...)

item 'h' = Time Thief (multiple members guessed correctly)

item 'i' = Bulldog (multiple members guessed correctly)

item 'j' = Joker (multiple members guessed correctly)

item 'k' = Lumberjack (one member guessed correctly)

item 'l' = Hunter (one member guessed correctly)

item 'm' = Builder (one member guessed correctly)

item 'n' = Ball (who'da thunk...)

Sollieman83

couldn't the ball just have been a ball?

BattleChessGN18

That's what it originally was: ball with striped design, where the stripe is the piece's secondary metallic color. But, I realized soon after that the Rook's power is essential to the piece itself, so I had to add a Rook component to it to make it relatively similar. happy.png

(In line with your thinking, I could have just made the spirit a 3D cross without the Knight. That's true, but the Knight power is essential to its definition, which is why a Knight crown was added.)

d is dwarf. Looks like one of the toughest pieces (and Duke taught me in an actual game how strong the dwarf is).

haha that was a good game

BattleChessGN18

Some time in this club, I will be using these pieces in some hosted games. How's that? grin.png

Nice, except that I can't find someone to play

Oi, look! I finally discovered how to animate the damn thing in me avatar! The secret turns out to not be GIF; but WEBP.

Say yay to resolve!
