Hello,
I have not encountered this kind of problem on my DGT with my linux computer.
Manually check the castling and the movement of parts (castling and other parts, also by capturing parts FROM YOUR LIVECHESS INTERCACE for example.
In the livechess application, you should see a chessboard window. You can check the movements like that for example.
lifting the piece properly enough and not movig it too slow.
For castling, start with the king.

Hi guys,
i've had some minor issues with the board and certain moves aswell, especially when castling. i've found the best way to castle is to lift the king off the board and then put it on the destination square, and WAIT until the computer recongizes it before moving the rook. whatever you do though, don't slide the king as this often ends up only moving the king 1 square instead of the usual 2 squares during castling, hence you won't complete castling properly. From my experience the livechess software usually assumes the king only moves 1 square with the exception of castling, and by sliding the king over more than one square it sometimes misreads which square your trying to reach. From my experience so far the livechess software is very quick at picking up the moves and the overall delay is very minimal between you making your moves and them reaching chess.com. My overall advice though, whilst playing with the DGT board hooked up, is be firm, quick and accurate when playing your moves, DO NOT move the pieces too slowly, or else you risk the software picking up the wrong move.
On another topic, there is also now an plugin extension available for browsers, that allows it to translate the moves into a spoken voice, however i've run into some problems with that aswell. So for example when i play 1.e4 it announces e4 which is fine. and it announces all opponents pawn moves fine. however if you move any other piece than a pawn, so lets say i play 1.Nf3 the software for some bizzare reason only announces the destination square, ie it says F3 instead of Nf3 which can be very misleading if your not watching the screen, the whole idea behind the extension was to able to listen to the moves instead of looking at the screen for them, but with this bug, your constantly looking back and forth at your screen to double check moves are correct. i really do hope they sort this out.
Hi guys,
thanks to your tips I can now play without errors on my DGT board.
For the voice move announcements, I am using the English version, and it says which piece is moving.
This is really great!
I don't understand. What is the name plugin ? How are you have voice in english. Please, explain....thanks

Look at the EN at the end.
This is important
Hi I have a Windows 10 computer a usb e-board and I can't seem to make them work together on chess.com. I am using Google Chrome, the beta version of chess.com, toggled the DGT e board setting in live chess, but it just wont work. Saying it cant see the board. What am I missing?
The chrome extension for voice works only in English, otherwise it gives only name of the squares without the name of the pieces. I noticed in French. When King is used, it says: "Rook". When I turned to English, this is perfect.
Hi all,
I succeeded in connecting my DGT Smartboard to chess.com.
Unfortunately, sometimes moves do not get well to chess.com
Do you encounter similar errors?
Thanks
