I really disagree... Only 6 players playing? This is less of a whole club event, and more of a smaller "team" event such as the Not So Pro Daily Chess League. There is less flexibility. What really sets CR an MW apart is the ability to choose your own battles. Also, with that format, you could choose 6 2000s, and win everything. and LASTLY, it relies SO much on the individual players, instead of the club as a whole, my club LOVES daily matches, everyone is ready to play... however if I say "I need 6 1500+ players, everyone else can't really do much" And it can be hard to get a response from someone if they are suddenly required to play because of a change in the lineup if you will.

Hey Aragorn is there any chance you saw my Ring? I seem to have misplaced it.
Yo. This isn’t a RP club.

I, personally, like CR because of the element of strategy involved that is absent from other league events. It makes the event a lot more fun and CW a lot more unique.
I see similarities between this and the debate around the ICO last year. But @Aragorn raises a point about numbers, is it possible we could modify this event to include the whole club, and then do both simultaneously?

There is a possibility that it can be changed to include a whole club, but having it daily or VC would mean it would be like 5 rounds a year. Live is the the only way to play it and have a lot more rounds, which is more fun overall.
The reason why I only had 6 people minimum is because clubs that have a lot more players would have many players that wouldn't play, and in difference to CR, this is supposed to be more of an exhibition of a club's best players.

I'll be straight with everyone here:
If we did a poll in every club JUST FOR MEMBERS AND NOT OWNERS, almost everyone would say that they barely know what the CR is and that they don't care about it. CR and MW only satisfy the owners, and nobody else. Sure, you get a lot of matches, but that's it. You can get them without CR.

If members were rooting for their clubs, they'd be cheering once or twice a month when a daily or VC match finally, compared to this, where people can follow this with a planned video i will make every week which will highlight top matches and winners for each week

give a thumb up to THIS comment if you are okay with a limited roster of 6 people or more up to 12 possibly to run alongside the 2024 CR
we can have the 2024 cr be for the whole club and the NCA 24 be an exhibition for a club's top players

This is basically just Not So Pro Chess League.... what's the point?
It is kind of like the NSP, but here are aspects that the NCA has that the NSP doesn't:
Play-ins
Weekly video featuring highlights each week, winners, and predictions, etc.
New format each week (either normal chess with a different time control or a variant)
The famous inventor (and now once again admin) @rohithbala is here with his latest invention! The National Chess Association is proud to hopefully be voted into replacing the CR in 2024!
