Not that I'm any authority on whether it is a good variant strategy-wise, but I will say that it is extremely fun to play. The placement of the walls makes a really good position. I like the amount of powerful pieces, although some may say it's too many. I will play this one a lot if it gets accepted, though

Thank you for posting a New Custom Position! Very nice idea, interesting concept. However, there are too many too powerful pieces and too little space to move them, so it contributes the teaming between players, even if they don't want to do so. The balance of positions doesn't achieve only by gamerules or symmetrical, equal or fair starting position, but also by the ratio of pieces power to number squares they can move, affect. This kind of balance is obviously broken here, which makes your position unbalanced. As a consequence of this, a lot of teaming opportunities naturally become opened, which is not acceptable for NCP. Try to change promotion to a Knight, Bishop, King, or come up with your own ideas how to prevent too much teaming opportunities.
