I don't think we need 2 ThroneWar Minis... seeing as the one we already have is not very popular (sometimes its popularity is a little below average, sometimes there are 0 games for weeks. This is probably because it is often eclipsed by WFT II).

We like it. =]
It's pretty sharp, and losing is easy if you aren't paying attention XD.
Thing is, we already have 3 WFT games as it is, and one of those is already a miniature. However, this one might be good enough to replace our current ThroneWar Mini - we couldn't decide. We'll continue to discuss it as a team, and get back to you soon.

But this is a interesting variant with short time on the clock but strategic play with sides are needed. I think this is a good variant some other things needed such as CAP (Capture the king).
If you put CAP, then it would be more interesting

but you can defend from it. for example, blue could play... 1. e8=k, 2. Ke7, if I got the numbers and letters right

Ha! I almost forgot that we were waiting on results here. Let me share the data:
In all head-to-head matchups except 1, Chronicles beat out Mini in games played, number of players, and total play time. As a total, Chronicles was played more than twice as often, by 55 more unique players, and for almost an hour longer.
I was hoping I'd get to do a deeper statistical analysis, but I think those numbers are pretty clear without needing to bust out any statistical heavy machinery.
Anyway, we finally get to retire "War for Throne Mini," and we'll have something exciting to take it's place. Well done!
