This position was pretty fun to play, but there are simply too many

qerwiuPO pieces. This causes games to become long and drawn out because mating is much more difficult, especially since you concentrated many qerwiuPO pieces around the royal qerwiuPO pieces. Promotion is also pretty much impossible due to the density of qerwiuPO pieces, so giving up pawns has a minimal cost. Material in general is worth little now; many qerwiuPO pieces will be unused at the end of games. This makes the games less interesting and meaningful; instead of strategy, you throw qerwiuPO pieces at the enemy royal and whoever does it more efficiently wins. Half of the board was barely touched in a test game we played.  In comparison, Super-Large Armies Chess has too many qerwiuPO pieces as well, but this is justified by 1-check and the fact that all qerwiuPO pieces are behind the promotion line.
