ngl promo to D is op
There was a game, in which a player decided to promote a rook instead of a queen, since this could be immediately captured by an opponent, but by choosing a rook, he allowed the game to maintain balance and that opponent decided to leave that rook with life, which is a correct move in a 3-player ending or stage.
Pieces
Weak chess pieces that require more skill: Ferz, Knight Xiangki, Elephant, King. | Pieces Strong: Rook (sailboat), Camel, Bishops, Knight.
The game does not start with a Queen, but you can get one, but with a lot of effort.
Now it has bigger goals to accomplish, which makes it very entertaining and dynamic, and it stands out from the rest, as a unique game. There are no multiple promotions, and everyone competes and has the same opportunities, without imbalance.
I don't think the requirements are met yet.
I don't see the time control or a screenshot.
you dont need that, the new cgabot is supposed to make everything for you, but it seems to have stopped working
We are excited to have you post a New Custom Variant! I see you fixed quite a few issues I pointed at, and only few remain. Nevertheless, the few remaining ones are detrimental to the gameplay. So let me elaborate on the main issue: it is better to do nothing and wait then to attack and extend your pieces. The more you extend, the easier you are to attack by your flank player, leading to spontaneous 2v1.
As such, the gameplay is still filled with shuffling, and that's the only big issue remaining: the rest are minor and negligible in fact if this one was not present. You need incentivize players to develop more and extend more, bring royals to the hill closer, and so on. The queen promotion doesn't help here: as soon as one gets a queen, they are very, very hard to stop, usually requiring good amounts of material to be sacrificed, so queen promotion is an issue. Due to the overly weak pieces and N-Check, it is too easy to attack the royals.
As such, the main issue is that players can do absolutely nothing and shuffle, and most of time that is winning. As such, players are either forced to shuffle or to attack and lose the game, and so:
