Hi a few reasons. 1) cga bot is being updated. And is not currently online. 2) cgas have been on vacation. So there's been less testing

Hi, sorry for the long wait. Although all NCVs submitted should be of high quality, it is even more important when we are talking about new gamerules, as it sets a precedent for the possibilities. Again, high quality is important so that it doesn't seem like something is unnecessary.
In this variant, there is way too much emphasis put on the chancellor such that losing it even to what would in regular chess be a good exchange is really bad in the endgame. Although there are some quirks in the endgames in part due to this, it wasn't really enough to add anything much. In addition, the freeze spells are usually just traded off immediately, and the absence of the jump spell makes the variant lack in variety is a missed opportunity.
