Variant Description: Original inspiration comes from iChess and Scandinavian Chess. The reason why I invoke King Gustav III’s Chess in the name is because chess.com calls the Crowned Knight “General”, like King Gustav III called the similar Amazon “General-Adjutant”. With the drop rule, promotion to Bishop, Rook, Archbishop, Chancellor or Queen should hardly be missed! Also chess.com not being able to force a deployment phase like iChess and Scandinavian Chess makes a sharper game.

Status: Declined

Reason: Since white unlike black can force pieces ahead of pawns they start off with a tremendous advantage, which leads to white having the forced win.
