and in the same time, we can add also the Xiangqi-Dabbaba; the Xiangqi-Alibaba; the Xiangqi-Alfil-rider; the Xiangqi-Dabbaba-rider; and the Xiangqi-Alibaba-rider.
I think it will be very usefull pieces, is just the equivalent of all pieces who move of two or an even mumber squares (dabbaba; alfil-rider, ...) but who cannot jump.
I already proposed it but i didn't had answer.
That is a great idea, people have suggested it before and also 炮, anyways, I tried to make it as similar as possible

Reason: The gameplay in the opening stage is too sharp: the only viable strategy is to attack rook pawns with alfils, which is not possible with normal xiangqi; any other strategies countering this sacrificial strategy get into a severe disadvantage due to swift attacks being performed. After rooks are traded down though, the gameplay becomes too stale with sensible players as no progress will ever be made due to the weakness of pieces and wazir's strong defensive capabilities.
