I remember when I helped him test this position a few months ago. I kept falling, but the dead pieces slow down attacks and give each player just enough more time to find out where each non-pawn is.
Status: Declined
Reason: The game is not unique enough: it is too similar to Fog of War in terms of gameplay, but is inferior overall. The only exciting strategy element is finding out the pieces, but this element takes away all prediction strategies, thus making the games either drawish or unbalanced, depending on the situation.
