9 n check + queen as royal. well looks a lot like a forced draw to me.

Technically, the chance of draw in this variant is a lot less, than in classic chess, as the royal is a queen, a very mobile piece, so two causes of draw (repetition and stalemate) have less chance to happen, second one has a lot less due to making queen nowhere to move is a really hard task.

@EmiliaLime I am thinking of the difficulty in "checkmating" a queen. 9 N-check is still a lot of checks. Once queens and rooks are traded off, royal queen is both good at stopping pawn advancements and evading mating nets.
