every enemy rook, bishop, knight when captured they change side at the spot..the attacking piece returns to its position..and queen as long as she is next to king cannot be captured..she acts something like the duck of the duck chess...
new chess idea..
looks interesting a little bit right?...as usual rules are the same...
pawns fight..pawns promote and castling remains stupid....lol.....
i came up with names too..
Last stand queen..??Rubber queen ducky
??Rambo queen?? lol
well...it has elements of these games its true..but in crazy you can literally put pieces next to enemy king..its a little harsh
i always try to come up with mild ideas that can be a little bit easier..
and if i dont make the queen immortal next to king she will be overwhelmed..if in the other hand i make her constantly uncaptured she will become overpowered
so...i dont know..
captured rooks bishops and knights change side right on the spot..
the piece which captures them dont move from its position
pawns and queen cannot change sides and if captured are removed from board as usual
except the fact that queen as long as she stands next to the king (in any direction) cannot be captured
if you promote a pawn you can either choose to make a powerfull, partially immortal queen
or
a not powerfull, immortal rook, bishop, knight which can turn against you on the board...but which you can capture back
So you can do this?
well i dont know if you being sarcastic or honest to be honest...that black king in the example is in a pretty bad situation already...but yes that's the idea..so now you have to pay attention because every capture turns against you instantly...
..and to avoid a soft lock of capture-recapture of a piece we could say that a captured piece cannot be recaptured immediately after....or lets say that 6 recaptures bring draw by repetition..
but after all people who got bored of ordinary chess want to try something more challenging..and i think this looks challenging..
if you played crazy house you could put a captured rook exactly at the same spot..so pretty much looks the same..
sorry people i checked it again and i begin to think that it wouldnt work properly..i see a lot of "locked" situations now..chess rules are there for a reason and tweaking them so far i created problems..
the game will end up unplayable sooner or later..
i will try to come up with something simpler with only slight changes..
thanks you all for the interest though..
I have a new chess idea which i will traditionally describe and beg of you to think the possibility of making it...business as usual..you know...
