This is greatly needed, and I believe it's in the works, from Danny Rensch's recent interview. As a developer, I can tell you it's definitely possible.

This is great! We shared the idea with the team, and I am happy to say that we are already planning to implement this! We cannot confirm a date yet, but it's included in the roadmap
