It would seem kinda fun to play.
New Game mode suggestion

True, seems very fun, a HYPER type of challenge. (Hyper Gamemode is very difficult, and it exists, only in the variants server, its ranked HYPER.)

Is it in the variants server already?

So basically it's a 0 minute game with 10 second delay?
I've done this before with 5 second delay OTB. It's fun.

What you are suggesting is called "Bronstein" increment, in which the players receive the used portion of their time back as long as it doesn't exceed the increment amount. For example, if the time control was 10 seconds + 5 second Bronstein increment, and a player used 3 seconds, they would get 3 seconds back. If they used 4, the get 4 back. But if they used 7 seconds, they would only get 5 back.
I believe this option is already on the chess.com chess clock app, so I don't know why it's not on the main site at the moment.

I'll try anything, lets do this!
Will chess com team read this?

Yes, it's in the variants already, but you kinda replicating HYPER to be honest.

Just did, thanks.

Its similar, but not quite, Like They always reset to 10 seconds back on the clock, and nothing lower. Bronstein is very similar to the idea tho., Thanks.

oh, i see. cool idea, but to be fair i don't think this would work well with longer time controls unless you want to play classical lol

How is Bronstein increment different from Delay practically?
If I understand correctly, if you have 5 sec Bronstein increment and you think for 3 seconds, 3 seconds get taken off your clock while you think and 3 get added when you finish thinking. If you have 5 sec delay and you think for 3 secs, you end up with the same amount of time as Bronstein.
Is the only difference that if you have 5 sec Bronstein increment and 3 secs on your clock, you can time out after 3 secs while with Delay you would only time out after 8 secs?
I think we are allowed to suggest things here, so here's my proposal.
I have a suggestion for a new game mode. It involves each player having 10 seconds on the clock for each move, and the timer resetting to 10 seconds after each move. This means that the opponent's clock starts when the move is made, and the time does not accumulate.
