This is a really good idea.
Thanks!, hope it gets considered
Maybe I'm making a mistake in the mechanics for this, but if you set a Bronstein increment game for 1 second plus 9 second increment, would that be the same thing as what you're suggesting? Or a 10 second + 10 second increment if I have the mechanics wrong, and the time is added after rather than before?

I think it would have to be 10 second + 10 second Bronstein increment or a 0 sec game with 10 sec delay.

yea, probably
I love this idea for a different game mode!
Thanks!
I was laying in bed at like 3 am and this random idea pops into my head lol

Wait a minute, isn't this the same as 0 seconds 10 second delay??

No, because you can lose time that you cant regain
I got an DM saying theres a way to do this in variants server, I dont think its clear what im trying to propose, shuld i try to say it clearer??

Yes, it's called HYPER, 30 or less seconds on the clock (no added time).
Thats not what i mean, i know what hyperbullet is, but This is a whole new thing im taklking about.
Both players start with 10 seconds on their clock, and basically have 10 seconds to make every move or they lose. Lets say you spent 5 seconds on move one, your time would reset back to 10 seconds, and your opponents clock wouls start.
then they would have 10 seconds to make thier move, lets say they take 9 seconds, thier clock would reset back to 10, and then it would be the others persons turn.
I'll try anything, lets do this!
Will chess com team read this?
