I guess sky block would be better if it wasn't just for us since sky island requires that you follow the rules, there isn't really a way to stop you from touching the ground exept your own word.

Just put it above a pit of lava/creepers/endermen/zombies!

Or just use creative to open up the void!

If you fall of the island in skyblock, do you die in the void?

yes. you build to other people's islands and kill them. 

we should have factions on the server so you could claim your island or something. But then there is the problem that you could claim other people's islands.

They're tedious, but you should eventually get them.

I play league of legends and i do spend a lot of time building things on minecraft and i am really good if he wants some help building i would be happy to.
