New piece idea: The Influencer

The Influencer moves like a king and attacks three squares away (hunter but one square farther)

The Influencer can't capture. Instead, it has an ability called, "agitate" which takes a turn to do.

The Influencer can affect friendly pieces (this is a flexible rule)

Any solid piece can be affected. Witches are not immune.

Rules for crazy pieces:

Agitated pieces go crazy and will capture anything they can. A crazy piece capturing does NOT count as a move from either side. 

Whether the crazy piece moves immediately after it is affected, or if it moves after the other side has had a chance to move is left up for discussion.

A crazy piece will prioritize whatever is closest. If there are two pieces the same distance from it, the crazy piece will prioritize worth. (If a queen and a knight are the same distance from it, it will capture the queen.) If two pieces of equal value and distance are in the range of a berserk piece, the piece will prioritize the enemy piece (i.e. a black pawn vs a white rook and a black rook, the pawn will capture the white rook.)

Berserk pieces can be captured by either side.

Crazy pieces can't move unless they capture.

Crazy kings CAN be captured, and they CAN put themselves en prise.

The effect lasts for three turns, until the piece is captured or if the crazy piece captures two friendly pieces consecutively.

Spirits are immune unless they are possessing a piece. Time Thieves are completely immune to this effect, but they cannot restore a crazy piece.

Taking the Influencer while a piece is berserk will NOT stop the effect. 

The Influencer CANNOT agitate two pieces at once.

If this effect is combined with that of a Femme Fatale, the piece is frozen for three turns.

If two Influencers affect the same piece, the effect lasts for five (!!) turns instead of three. The effect would then be unbreakable.

A crazy pawn can still capture en passant, and it can still promote. What it promotes to will be decided at random. Of course, it can't promote unless it captures something on the 8th rank.

Crazy pieces will retain ALL of their special powers. A crazy Femme Fatale will still render enemy pieces next to it harmless.

Hmm, Interesting. are kings affected?

Now, can you guess what game I pulled this piece idea from? Here is a hint: there are already four pieces that we use that are also in said game (pretty sure that was unintentional, but it still counts. Bonus points if you tell me what four pieces they are.)
